Bought 80,000 mile warranty tires, went in for bal/rot at 40,000 and told 2 tires were bare. The last rot/bal showed normal wear in computer, but because walmart new policy only goes to 50,000 they said that the warranty with tires at time of purchase is no longer valid. Showed original receipts and manager refused to even prorate on replacements. Took 6 hrs for them to just tell me that no manager was on duty to assist and that they did not have my size in stock anyways. Went to Discount Tire and got better deal on 4 in stock tires with all warranties for the price that Walmart would charge for 2 with 5 days to be delivered. On a side note, told tires either over certain wear, 50,000miles, or over 2 years are denied coverage automatically. Was not informed of this at time of purchase, so ask for complete warranty info on current set if you purchased already. Don't wait until you do regular maintenance like we did.
