Excellent customer service.
These dealers are very courteous people who will sell you a good car at a reasonable price. They are conveniently located on Pleasant Valley Blvd. in Altoona, Pa.
Bought 2 cars there. One had a bad motor and the other is completly rusted out. I got the second car 10 months ago and it needs a lot of parts replaced for inspection due to being completely rusted out. They told us that it was normal wear and tear. I shoild have listed to all of my friends when they called this place junk and putty!!!! I will never buy from here again. The people are nice when trying to sell the car then when there is a problem they are very rude and unprofessional on top of not fallowing through with their warranty. Lesson learned and i hope you read this comment and choose not to buy a car there!!!
Low key and competent sales staff and easy to work with. They really try work with you finding what you want. They keep their overhead low so they can pass the savings on to the buyer. A great place for buying used cars in the mid-range (5-10k). Would use them again.
If ANYONE is looking to purchase a vehicle - DONT go to Altoona Auto. I bought my 2006 Honda CR-V from them on February 23, 2016 with 87,955 miles. I found out my Crv was bought from an auto auction in New York. It was bought fromThat auto auction on January 11,2016 with a mileage of 193,755. On February 16, 2016 it was inspected at the dealerships garage with a mileage of 87,955! THERE ARE 105,000 MILES MISSING!!! I tried calling the dealership for help and was told by The owner, to "shut up and don't open a can of worms, my extended warranty will cancel me if they find out about the mileage. Now I know they can't just rewind mileage BUT the odometer can be switched with another Crv of the same generation. Point is - the dealership WILL NOT help me or even work with me and they manipulated me and the mileage on the vehicle I bought. I still owe 8500$ for a 2006 vehicle that now has OVER 200k miles! If anyone has any advice or information that can help, please message me! Also, PLEASE share this post - it's made public for that reason! Don't let someone else get scammed by this woman like I did!
Service department don't want to cover anything under warranty. If they can't find or solve you're problem they try to charge the customer. I took my truck in for oil change and tire rotation and they said I needed brakes. I said no thanksAnd immediately took my truck to a state inspection station who pulled all four wheels and the brakes were fine. What ever happened to the old days when people were honest.
Good to deal with. Honest and will answer all questions. Frendly and nice to talk to.
I had purchased a truck from them about 5 years ago, fair in the maintenance of same. price and staff were good
Great to work with, very reasonable pricing and willing to go the extra mile. I would recommend to go see Bud Blackie. He treated us so well, made sure we got what we needed for the budget we were working with!
My fiance an I bought a 97 dodge ram from them and have never been happier!! We got the truck in Decemeber of 08 and have had no major problems. The fog light went out and we had to replace a fuse, but other than that, he drives it out of town every week for work. We have used it to haul gravel and dirt for my parents and have never doubted the truck in anyway! I love our truck and couldnt be happier with our purchase!! The people at J & P were a pleasure to deal with and we would recommend it to anyone looking to get a used car!
