In the process of making our decision about what Solar PV system we were going to install, we spoke to more that 6 different vendors. We learned a lot about the different types of inverters and panels available, and found some vendors very helpful in answering our questions, and others not so helpful. We also discovered some companies weren’t really keeping up with the advancements in technology, and a few were even giving out factually false information.



We selected Universal Solar because they had the most experience with the type of system we wanted. Nick, their sales guy was very low pressure but always available and responsive to our questions. He was very patient with us as we tried to learn and understand these systems in order to make the right choice for our home. The installation when very smoothly, and the timing of the entire process went more quickly than we had anticipated. We liked that they have several folks on staff who are NABCEP certified, and were impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the install crew.



We have had our system turned on for a couple weeks now and are very happy with its performance so far. We would strongly recommend Universal Solar for Solar PV system installation and would use them again if need be.

We got FOUR estimates from four local companies, and they had the lowest estimate. Universal Solar has exceeded our expectations. When we had additional questions, Nick Arceneaux made time in his schedule to come by and answer them. Jason Reale and Shaun Newell were professional and helpful. They corrected existing mistakes in our plumbing and electrical systems, making it all look and work perfectly, and they also carted off the old heater. Nothing was left out of place; everything looked far better than when they started. They were able to complete the job sooner than we anticipated. Even in cloudy, cool weather, we have already enjoyed swimming in late November and early December. We are so pleased to have a free, infinite source of heat for our winter swimming.
