Always greeted with a smile to Mari's Cucina and Social House, you instantly feel like you have found long-lost friends. Warmth, attentiveness without being intrusive, outstanding cuisine......all combine to make a great evening out.We actually enjoy sitting at the bar to enjoy our dinner and drinks because we always meet interesting new regulars at Mari's......or reunite with regulars we have met before. We come for the social atmosphere, of course, but the real appeal that warms our hearts (and stomachs) is the excellent authentic Italian pastas and entrees. Difficult to say what is our favorite, but the Chicken Sorrentina is unique and a meal that fills you up just right.People have fun dining there, the servers have fun working there, and the hands-on ownership and management have fun seeing everyone else enjoying the restaurant and bar.As the Italians would say, Bravissimo!
Food is always fresh, staff is very attentive and professional. I've been coming here for for 15 years.
I had a recent visit and I thought the food was good. The ambiance was nice but the restaurant can feel a little dark. My server Taylor was awesome and very attentive. I ordered the calamari and a margarita pizza to start. The calamari was a bit salty. My favorite was the spaghetti and meatballs. It wasn't "saucy" and the noodles were larger than the typical spaghetti noodles. The restaurant is located at the Avalon so parking can be a bit of an issue. I recommend valet which is validated by the restaurant.
Had the spaghetti and meatballs plus the super slow service. Ate outside and waitress showed up occasionally. Food was mediocre and atmosphere was also. $118 for 2 plates of spaghetti, 2 glasses of wine ($14 per glass) and an order of lasagnanette, whatever that is. Colletta is rated as an OAD - One and Done!
Mouthwatering Italian Cuisine; great service mixed with a beautiful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
Pasta Vino is a great Italian restaurant that’s fun for families and ideal for couples as well. In addition to the expected superb Italian food they serve, they also have seafood that’s out of this world. If you love Italian food, then Pasta Vino is a must. Also, the service is great and the staff is very friendly.
Do NOT eat at Mangia. I was eating dinner tonight and watched as the OWNER of the restaurant pulled an employee out front and began to YELL and argue with the young man. He was cursing and acting in the most unprofessional manner I have ever witnessed. He continued the yelling and arguing in front of customers and employees. I have absolutely no desire to go there again.
Food is over priced and average at best..
Excellent imported meats and cheeses; great stuff for gift baskets. Love the paninis, made hot and fresh right in front of you. Definitely recommended.
