"HANDS DOWN to Chris, Director of Operations and his team!!! My story began when I took my car to Roswell Maaco to have the hood repainted. Needless to say, the paint job was terrible and the hood did not close completely after opening it up. I knew something was desperately wrong with the hood altogether. I called a close family member of mine and told him of my concern. He told me about Chris at Classic Collision who had recently refurbished his vehicle and had me meet him there for Chris to take a look at it. When Chris saw the hood of my car, that's when I first learned the term ""aftermarket."" In laymen's terms, ""aftermarket"" means a part manufactured by a company other than the original manufacturer...a counterfeit. Chris said to leave the car with him and he assured me I would have nothing to worry about, that he'd take care of everything. I cannot tell you how relieved I was to know my car was in the hands of someone who was trustworthy. When I picked up my car a few days later, it looked like a brand new car! I almost wanted to cry when I heard that my Mazda 3 was hit from behind. Not only because it was in near-mint condition but also because I've had to deal with insurance-based repairs in the past. We have Geico, but the person at fault had State Farm. Because I am new to the state, I wanted to get the repairs done through the Mazda Dealership (Rick Case). They don't have a in house body shop so they sent out the work to Classic Collision in Alpharetta. The gentleman that was working on our case was Jeff Boyd. I cannot believe how quick and painless he made the entire process! The vehicle had been there just over a week and Jeff from CC contacted me almost every other day to give a heads up on what was going on. The facility was not typical of a body shop (metal chairs surrounding a 13" TV with year old magazines and a coffee machine). The lobby reminds me more of a doctor's office. We sat for about 5 minutes while our vehicle was getting cleaned and waxed. The staff was very attentive.
My experience with Classic Collision is the best thing that came out of a pretty bad day -- my car stopped a police chase. The guys were very friendly and did a great job explaining to me what was wrong with my car and what it would need (and trust me... I needed the explanation!). I was told by my insurance company to expect a two-week wait. When I got my car back four days later, it was almost as good as new. The next day, though, after driving to the pet store, my car wouldn't start. I called at 4 p.m. on a FRIDAY to ask him if it could be related to the car accident. He said he didn't think so, but would take care of it. And he did. My battery was dead. Simple as that.
Maurice Hunter was very helpful, knowledgable and respectful in detailing the necessary repairs and explaining the issues of repair with my husband's luxury vehicle that received rear end damage. He contacted me concerning changes during the process, and made sure the vehicle was clean and ready upon my arrival to pick up. Classic Collision has done many repairs for our large driving family over the years and we would highly recommend them and Maurice! Oh and did I mention that in my area they were one of only 2 places with trained specialist to work on all aluminum bodies, as well as their quote was lower!
I HIGHLY, HIIGHLY recommend Crabapple Car Care, These are the most honest, caring people, and are fantastic mechanics. They take time to explain what is needed, what they found, and offer options on what can be done. Also, as a man with three daughters, I am thankful that one of the owners, Bonnie, is a woman. My daughters are treated with respect ahd honesty whenever they take their cars in for service, and are never taken advantage of merely because they are women. I take all of our cars here for all our maintenance, from simple oil changes to major engine repairs, and have NEVER been disappointed.
This customer below came in with squeaky brakes. We replaced the customers front and rear pads and sensors. We told this customer that their real problem was they needed a new SBC unit. The customer did not want to replace this unit at the time. 5 months later the customer came in threatening to put a bad review if we did not replace a $2000 SBC unit for free. You can look at our previous history that shows we are always straight forward with our customers and put their interests first. As for pricing we encourage our customers to shop around and they all come back to us, and we always use OEM parts.
Honest, fair, and reputable. Significant customer base - know that you are getting 30 years(or more) experience If you have questions - do not...underline ..imply you are shopping for other deals - I wasn't and asked questions that were interpreted otherwise. Honesty on my part resulted in rejection of service. Well-healed clients mostly; not that there aren't exceptions. Use discretion in questioning and know - this business is well-established and does not need customers who want to know. Busy, deep-pocketed clients do best. :-) John is a good man, but not for everyone.
Many thanks to Chris & Travis @ the Alpharetta location for helping me regarding my recent auto damage claim. Along with the insurance adjuster, Rick Nelson, they were so courteous, friendly and willing to help salvage my vehicle for repairs. They even completely took care of transferring my car from the other body shop that initially assessed my vehicle. They made me feel so at ease and hopeful for my repair situation, all while being very practical, cost-effective, honest, and professional. Kudos to all of them for displaying such outstanding customer service!
After the terrible experience I have had lately with dishonest people at a car repair facility and a marina I figured I should say something nice. I have been going to Joe and his team for all my car service work for years and could not be happier. I have shopped a few of his quotes an he is always competitive. Also has a really cool Dog that helps pass the time and a very nice waiting area with computers to use. If I ask he will even run my car across the street to the car wash so I pick up a freshly cleaned car.
