The Goddard School of Alpharetta (State Bridge)

I have 2 daughters at The Goddard School and we are very pleased. The entire staff is very nice and things are uber organized. I feel comforted with the level of security (there's a code to get into the lobby from the outside as well as facial recognition to get into the main building from the lobby). We get daily reports of their activities via email and one of the teachers even sends me pictures of my daughter as she participates in various activities throughout the day. I was a little unsure about the fact that there is artifical grass outside however this has turned into a benefit because the kids get the "feel" of grass without the stains! :)

In the spirit of providing a balanced review, a couple of cons are:
1. Cost - It's not the least expensive place but we visited several in the area and it seemed to be the cleanest and most organized. Ultimately you get what you pay for and I am very happy with our decision
2. Lunches aren't included in tuition - You have the option to bring lunch or order lunch from a separate company

Lastly, the owner is very involved and is onsite every day. He knows everyone's name and they all genuinely care about the kids.

We are so happy we chose The Goddard School! It gives us great peace of mind to know that our baby is in the hands of loving and professional caregivers. We get plenty of pictures throughout the day of all the fun and educational activities our daughter gets to participate in. Tom Barone, the owner, goes out of his way to get to know all of the kids and parents and to make sure the school has the best security and safety practices. As a parent, it’s hard to leave your child in someone else’s care, but I completely trust the staff at The Goddard School to keep my baby healthy and happy while I’m away at work.

My son started 3 years ago and my daughter 18 months ago and we love this school. Their teachers are outstanding and the management team and owner are involved every day and greet my family warmly.



We enjoy reading the daily email updates from the teachers about what our kids learned and getting pictures during the day - we send some of the pictures to our out of town family members.



We looked at several other nearby schools but none compare to this school. We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll at the State Bridge Road Goddard School.

I went on a tour with the owner of the school. It was the most pathetic tour I have experienced. First of all, Tom Barone is a business man, he is not a passionate educator. We walked around the school and into some of the classrooms. The staff looked miserable and over worked. The classrooms were packed some had as many as 14 children with only 2 staff members. All of the staff looked like they were putting on an act. They barley made eye contact with Mr. Barone while he tried to make small talk with them. The children in the classroom all jumped out of their seats and ran to Mr. Barone calling him "Daddy" and hung on his legs. The man is a phony. I have also looked through previous reviews and saw that there is a high staff turnover rate. Clearly the staff isn't happy there. I got bad feeling before I even entered the school as I walked past the owners freshly polished Acura parked in the front of the building.
