Very Good first visit

A few of us just came back from lunch at Burrito Gorilla. The food was surprisingly good. In fact, everything we ordered was excellent. I've lived in Alpharetta for nearly 20 years and can't think of any other Mexican place we've ever had that was even 1/2 as good as this one is.

There's even a outside, covered patio that looks kind of nice. They serve beer and wine, so I may just have to sit out there some evening that is not too hot.

Give this place a shot. The restaurant is in a lousy location; the previous restaurant there went out of business. Partly because you can't see it from either Jones Bridge or State Bridge Road.

From my first experience there, they definitely deserve to stay in business.

Worth a drive from Atlanta

I've been known to make a drive or two from my ITP home address when it comes to must have Mexican food. When I heard the owners of Burrito Gorilla were doing some California Taqueria style tacos and burritos, I had to see what the fuss was all about. Based on my experience recently at Burrito Gorilla, I'm tempted to just write over and over NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMMMMMMMMMMM. However, I should probably write in plain English that t his place is straight up fun, delicious and everything I want when it comes to going out for good food. I especially enjoyed the queso fundido and California taco. My husband had the Puerto Vallarta and loved it! I wouldn't know because he wouldn't even share one bite! If you're in the Johns Creek or Alpharetta area, you need to head on over there. And if you live ITP Atlanta or Decatur like I do , it's definitely worth a trip!
