This was honestly the worst hair salon experience in my life. I was charged $400 dollars to get my extensions taken out and a frontal put in. First off, Keisha was the stylist who did my hair. The first day she did it , it was decent but I had a hump in my head because she did not sew the hair on tight enough. She also did not style it. The second day,(I came back so she could fix it) and she sewed my frontal on sideways (crooked). I asked her to give me a middle part and she kept trying to give me a side part because she knew she made a mistake, but did not care about the client (me). When she finished I looked in the mirror and told her it was crooked and she just laughed and said "don't ask me to do it again, because I'm not". So than I kept trying to fix it and she turned off the salon's lights (she was ready for me to leave ) because it was the closing time . This was very hurtful to me so I called the manager and she was very nice about trying to help me fix the problem. However , I didn't want to go back . And I'd honestly rather have some of my money back because as a 17 year old female in high school, $400 took a huge chunk out of my savings. And it wasn't even worth it.
Keisha. YAAASSS... Is awesome. If you want a short cut that lasts even without curls or the style that Keisha gave you before you got out of her chair. I could tell when she first started cutting she knew what she was doing, she was experienced and had a professionalism that met my standards. Oh she's the one. I'm so satisfied. Thanks Alter Ego Alpharetta. I will be back real soon. Like this week. LOL.
The ambience. The service. The professional stylists. Top- notch and worth every penny. I've never experienced such class and professionalism. They service all walks of life, creeds and cultures. Alter Ego puts most salons to shame. My stylist Keisha is the best in the world!!! Monique, the salon manager runs an extraordinary establishment. Experience it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
The good: The salon is upbeat and upscale.
The bad: The services provided are that of fresh out of Blaine's beauty Academy graduates. The stylist are proclaimed to be top notch. Oh brother! My niece whom by the way does all her high school friend's hair could easily be employed here and bring a better client base! This is GA! The mecca of hair! And, I feel like the $150 I spent would have best been given to by niece and her bathroom styles. Never again! They should be ashamed of the themselves. And, I hear they come from up top too! oh boy! Don't tell anyone else that!
Deep sigh.......not worth the 90 bucks :-/ the work of the 3 stylist I experienced was something I could've pulled off in my bathroom. Straight out of beauty college maybe?? If your going to charge professional prices you need to do professional work. I was too excited about this place especially being up here in Alpharetta, only to be disappointed 3 times, by 3 different stylist. The salon is beautiful and very upscale though, they just need the stylist to match the decor :-/
I found this salon by shopping at the Beauty Suppy store across the street. When they told me that it was a Phyto salon I went to check it out. The atomsphere is awesome! The front desk staff was awesome and the stylist were very professional! I will be making this the new home for my hair! Ms Eboni was great! And I look forward to having her take care of my hair on a regular!!!!
