This is a beautiful space - so rustic, with tons of pretty details. The brunch here is amazing! They have famous brussel sprouts with feta and bacon that are delicious - I also loved the salmon cake benedict. They have nice outdoor seating, perfect for a group!
My fiance made arrangements for my birthday surprise dinner date. The restaurant is beautifully posh and upscale, food is fresh, organic, & delicious. Our server rushed us to order food or a drink from the time we sat down till the time we were eating our entrees, and was not helpful or suggestive in answering ordering questions. She argued with me once I inquired on receiving the proper side item I originally requested with my entree. Irritated, I politely asked to have the rest of my food to go (I later discovered was not all there). She quickly brought the tab, took my finances credit card to run, and returned abrubtly. Although, I talked to the manager (Ma'm) before departing, who was polite and comforting, and tried to console the situation by giving me a coconut cake slice. Very disappointed in our impression of this restaurant because of our server. Their food may be great, but our service was very poor. With their hefty menu prices,I would expect a much better experience.
They sell delicious Pan-Asian cuisine/ Indianized Chinese food on their menu. I was in love with the Chicken 65 and Chinese Bhel appetizers. The entrees Chicken Manchurian and Hot Garlic Shrimp were pretty good but was mainly a lot of sauce. The Chocolate Spring Rolls with Vanilla Dip for dessert was awesome! I recommend coming here for a meal!
Very good Chinese food, reasonably priced and quick service. Small, intimate restaurant. If in the area I would recommend House of Chen.
Giving this place one star is an act of extremen generosity on my part.As a regular in the Wok and Chopsticks, I used to go there, weekly and more, often taking visitors and colleagues with me.Today will be the last time EVER.The food tasted rancid. When I advised the staff, the response was less than caring. In fairness, they offered to replace the meal, but I was so sickened, I had gone off eating at all. The final straw was when they charged for the soup and spring roll that comes as part of the lunch package. To top all of that was the attitude of the manager was sullen and uncaring. No apology. No sign that she gave a care as to my experience.I have had mildly similar expetriences of the same semi-hostile treatment in the past, but kept going back. No more. No more.Goodbye Wok and Chopsticks.I will now positively advise everyone I know of ny experience to save them from the same.
Tried to have a decent dinner at this restaurant. Ordered Teriyaki Chicken. The meat was so tough - amazing how one can ruin chicken. Onions in the slim veggies mix were raw and even after asking to have them recooked they were still raw. The only nice thing about this "dinner" wasvthe plate decoration, a lovely orchid. Our waiter was very nice. He offered to get me the same dish cooked again. NO thank you. He only charged us for fried rice and steamed veggies, which was still overcharged because of the quality of the veggies. I would highly recommend NOT to eat at Volcano in Alpharetta.
Fried rice was incredibly bland but the chicken chow mein was delicious. I will definitely eat there again
Sitting in the restaurant as I type. Very bad service and bsd experience. Waitress hardly checks in with us. Waited for over 45 mins for appetizers. My wife did not get her food along with the rest of us. The plates had something grimy stuck. They screwed up our evening
Best Chinese in area. Sweet young couple who have given this place a pleasant atmosphere and delicious fresh food. The service is prompt and the food is plentful. I can't understand anyone not liking this restaurant if they like Chinese. By the way, I don't think these are the same people who were on State Bridge in Duluth. But, if they are, they have done a 100% turnaround.
We have been going to and getting take out and delivery from Simons for years. Great food. Great staff. Best in Alpharetta!
