Our movie experience was absolutely terrible. To begin with, when we tried to open the door to get in, the door only opened half way, as no one had shoveled the snow away to open the door properly. Then once inside, the ticket window was closed so we had to purchase tickets at the concessions stand which was run by only two very slow moving girls. After standing in line for about 20 minutes, we finally made it up to purchase our tickets. By now, we had already missed the first ten minutes of the movie, due to only having 2 people running the place, and them being so slow at their jobs. As we got to our turn to purchase tickets the girl running the cash register decides to make a phone call. So she completely ignored me for another 3 minutes while I stood there waiting to get to my movie. Then when she was done talking, I told her what I wanted, a medium couples combo with two cokes and butter popcorn. She then had to ask me what kind of drinks I wanted and if I wanted butter on my popcorn....um, hello?!? I literally just told you exactly what I wanted! We finally got our tickets and moved over to the other side of the counter to collect our drinks and popcorn. I tasted my coca cola and it tasted nasty. So I immediately asked for two sprites instead. The sprites didn't taste much better. Flat and old tasting. The popcorn was very stale tasting as well. We finally got into the theater that had our movie at 1:15...considering it started at 1...so then we had to try to find seats in the dark. It ended up being a good movie, but the service at this theater is horrendous! Come to find out the next day,a girl I work with went to the same movie the night before and stood in line 40 minutes with pre purchased tickets! They didn't even want concessions but still had to stand in line, only to be late to their movie as well. And again the same two slow girls were running the place. If I could get a refund I would. The whole experience was terrible. I remember that theater in much better form when I was younger. It has done nothing but go downhill. The service is terrible, the building is old, the prices are too night for the quality of service and products you're actually getting. If the experience was better I could understand charging more for good tasting snacks, but anyone would be better off bringing dollar store snacks compared to the crap they are selling at the state cinema. The only good part ended up being the movie!
