        Overall

        The pizza used to be good. It was bad. I ordered on Friday night, the dough was tough and no flavor, sauce had no taste at all, toppings were less than aducute. End of an era unless they can get it together. I'll probably try it again because it use to be good pizza.

        The best pizza outside of NYC

        This restaurant is dearly loved by many generations. They have been doing it right since day one. I have met people while out of town who have told us about their fond memories of Pizza Sam's while they were in college. They were over 50. They brought their grandchildren to Alma just so they could take them for pizza. They were thrilled not much had changed.



        That is what makes Pizza Sam's special. They don't need to change the menu, decor or service. It is a dining experience that is available to anyone.
