I just moved to Indianapolis and had to have a medical procedure that required sedation. The hospital was emphatic that I either could not have the procedure unless I had a ride home. Yet, they would not allow Uber/Lyft/Taxi. I was totally desperate. Need-a-lift was extremely helpful, even at the last minute. I felt that the driver was more compassionate than the medical personnel about my difficult position. Very grateful for the service.

Facility is OLD. I'm guessing it has never been updated since it was built in the 50s. Rodent, mold, & appliance issues. Few staff take responsibility for anything. Not qualified for memory care, yet many residents need exactly that. All about the money, getting apartments rented, little regard for residents. Owner is 4th generation & out of touch. All about appearance to potential residents, what you don't see during sales job is potentially unsafe if you choose to live here.
Friendly and caring staff. Lots and lots of activities and free bus makes it easy to get anywhere. Affordably priced too.
Really like it here at. Crestwood villige. Many great things do here. Bingo, outings, go to stores. Yard sales , dinner dance. Fun. Glee club choir I'm in. Great place to live. And many. New friends. Go to John h. Boner senior center. Met a real live iindian man. Interesting. He play games, pranks, and toyed with me. He yell & shouted at me. Not so nice. Turn out that's his way flurting with me, were both single, never married. Some boyfriend like guy to me. Be real funny if he ever did pop question to me. Me ( Debra Dobson). Marrying an Indian guy. Funny
Just Great, everything looked very nice . The staff was veryfriendly, outside looked well kept. Look forward to living here.
My grandfather was transferred from ICU to this facility. This facility is grossly and dangerously understaffed and this has been demonstrated time and time again. The severe neglect started happening within less than 24 hours. The neglect started within 24 hours of him staying there. He pushed the assistance call button attached to his bed to request help to get up and go to the bathroom A staff member came in and said she would be right back with someone to help him. She never came back. He had an accident in the bed because they neglected his needs. Then, he was forced to sit in his own fecal matter for over 3 hours, and they even served him his lunch while sitting in his own fecies. 3 hours later a speech therapist came in and got someone right away to wash him and clean it up. She said that she would tell the administrator on Monday. This was during Easter weekend. he went to pay the barber for his haircut, he opened his wallet to be completely empty. Someone STOLE HIS MONEY!!!!
The post from marilynshope sounds like a disgrunteled employee. My mother resides here, and she loves it, and WE love our mother being there. It's beautiful. Staff is professional and caring and friendly. If they fired 5 people like marilynshope's post stated, it was undoubtedly because they put their resident's above all else.
We moved in a year ago and the place is so small we can't have more than two guests at a time or would trip over each other. So many rules and everyone watches your every move. It's just not for us.If you have no life, family or friends then it will suit you just fine
As of 2013, there is a new management team. at the end of the day, they do not care about your parent or loved one, they care about what the dollar sign is. They just took 5 jobs from women on the Independent Living side and told them they have two weeks of work left. And it is not so they can have better care. Its so they can make more money. The care of the residents comes from the Nursing staff. And they keep that as short as they can. Rushed time limits. Not what you see on the TV in their new commercial!
My Dad moved in here last month. It was a very difficult transition as we just lost my Mom, Dads best friend, wife, & care giver of over 50 years. Dad has been very welcomed and treated so lovingly. They are so kind to Dad. He is getting around and making friends. He is learning much and doing so well considering. My In Laws also live here.happily for the past couple of years. I can not tell you what a joy it is knowing my family are in a safe loving environment where they can be self efficent yet have assistance if needed. They have individual apartments, vary in size, with three meals daily, laundry facilities (free), activities, transportation, and the best nursing staff, maintenence staff, aides staff. I love Crestwood East and am os grateful to them. (I just hope the rates do not increase as Dad is at the top of his budget...)
