This was the worst experience in my 50 years of life with a dental facility!! The dentist did not listen at all, had to have some teeth pulled, only used Novocaine, nothing else, would not stop for breaks and I get severe migraines, (which I discussed and was my main concern), I also have anxiety. He didn't care. did not even have ice pack for me to apply afterwards, just sent me on my way. I won't ever go near that insensitive, unprofessional, idiot again!!!! Seems to me, anyone can get a dentist license these days...
Avoid at all costs.
The only thing this place has going for it is that the staff are polite and kind. Everything else is a joke.
FIrst they gave me a wildly overblown estimate of $8K+ worth of work I allegedly needed done on my teeth. Then they put me in the hands of their sham of an endodontist. On top of being snide and rude and literally smacking my arm to make a point while talking to me about my teeth, he royally screwed up what was supposed to be a root canal. After a year of pain from him inexpertly mucking about in my tooth (and prescribing many unwanted painkillers) despite me telling him repeatedly that it was not healing, I finally left for good. Unsurprisingly, the tooth needs to be pulled because his unnecessarily drawn-out work was a shoddy disaster.
Oh, he's also a bigot who got into an argument with the assistant who was helping him because the assistant was openly gay. Real professional, seeing you deliberately demean and bully your assistant over nothing while working on a patient.
Also, they talked me into what I thought was a payment plan but is actually a scam credit company who has charged me hundreds of dollars in erroneous late fees (I moved and called them on three separate occasions telling them to update my address so the bill would stop coming past its due date, but they continually neglected to do so). Their "late" fee is more than my monthly payment is supposed to be...most months. Hard to tell since they love changing the amount due constantly even though I haven't accrued any more charges in over a year. They're called Comenity and I will never sign up with them again, either.
I should've known a dental "chain" would work with cut-rate doctors for top-shelf prices and runs deals with shady credit companies. Seriously...even if you are desperate, find somewhere else to go.
My insurance company at the time recommended I go to them--I dropped that insurance company as fast as I could once I realized how awful this place was. I hope they go out of business; the nice workers there deserve better jobs elsewhere and the endodontist should lose his license to practice.
Do NOT go to Aspen Dental. I was a new patient without insurance at the time and got X-rays taken which were incredibly painful and the girl who did they chocked me a few times. X-rays are usually a little painful but this was rediculous. The dentist who saw me asked why I was there. I explained I had tooth sensitivity on one of my molars, I grind my teeth badly, and needed a cleaning. She took a metal instrument and started banging my teeth and actually said "I want to see if it cracks." When it didn't, she said I has to see a specialist. She totally ignored my grinding concern and then told me I needed a filling on a top molar because there was a tiny black spot on it. I left there not getting any treatments because I did not trust the office. I just saw another dentist who was FANTASTIC and I actually don't have a cavity(it was a tiny stain) and the tooth sensitivity was from a tiny area of gum recession which he saw immediately. I would strongly advise not going to Aspen Dental if you care about your teeth!
One of the worst experiences I've had going to a dentist. Granted my teeth are pretty bad and I haven't seen a dentist in years. I went in there thinking I can turn this around and left feeling sub-human. Nevermind the fact that the place I'm going now I'll end up paying maybe 1/3 of what I would of spent there, with the exact same insurance plan. I went in for my first appointment and they just did an exam and the dentist's first words were "so are you trying to get dentures?" Mind you I'm only 25 and that would almost kill any possible social life and my self esteem. Before I left they were telling me about companies that handle the loans and the payment plans that went along with them. They rescheduled me and when I showed up I was told that the doctor was in and to get any work done I'd have to pay $200-$300 on the spot. Now I told them I was gonna have to do the payment plan the first time so why would they expect me to have that kind of money on me? The whole thing was just such a mess I never went back.
Fast forward to where I'm going now they cleaned my teeth on my first appointment (which is free twice a year with my insurance) and they were very helpful. I just had 4 cavities filled the other day and it was like $110. So why that other place needed $200-300 is beyond me when it wasn't gonna be a root canal. It just felt like they weren't telling me anything and just expecting all their clients to walk in with tons of money on them at all times. Also when I brought up the fact that the place I went to previously was mentioning dentures she laughed! She said "no way" and that there's no reason to have to go that route.
So that's my 2 cents take it or leave it. I guess if you're wealthy enough or just forward enough you won't have any problems I assume. I would say though that if you're not experienced enough with stuff like that, and or you haven't had to really deal with those types of situations where you need a lot of work done but don't have enough knowledge, then don't go to Aspen Dental.
I had my old dentures for 20+ years and I could no longer chew even softer foods well. I shouldve gone to a dentist sooner but past experiences at other offices left me terrified. I was very impressed and surprised with everyone at Aspen Dental. They made the whole process very comfortable for me and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Absolutely everyone I encountered at Aspen Dental was incredibly pleasant and professional. I enjoyed my visits so much that I went 4 times in just 8 days. Alright, well maybe I didn't enjoy them, but they certainly were the most relaxed dental appointments I've ever had. Unfortunately, I had put off going to the dentist for some time and needed several trips to make up for lost time. The staff was very helpful in explaining the process and answering every question I had. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be recommending their services to my friends and family.

They were super friendly, kind, & gentle. It took me 3 years to go to the dentist because I was affraid and my work schedule was busy. They have awesome hours and I never once felt bad about waiting so long to come. I have no regrets about making the decision to go to Aspen Dental! They're fantastic people that do superb dentistry! Special thanks to Dr. Yi!

I was going to a dentist from May 2011 to December 2011 to get a new lower denture fitted & made, and ended up having nothing but pain and suffering, until I couldn’t take it anymore.\nI visited my brother at the end of December 2011 and he had told me, he had teeth pulled and new dentures made at Aspen Dental by Airport Rd. He said the staff was so concerned, pleasant & caring. He also told me about the payment plan they have, so he could afford to get all the word completed because of being on a fixed income.\nSo, in the beginning of January 2012, I decided to call and make an appointment for x-rays and a consultation at Aspen Dental by Airport Rd. By the beginning of February, I had surgery performed and have a full set of dentures, I am able to chew without any pain what so ever, which I could not do since May 2011.\nMy thanks go out to the wonderful staff which I must say are cheerful, courteous, caring, as all your photos are displaying in the waiting room smiling, so is your staff. It makes me feel welcoming and warm inside. The payment plan also is welcoming as I also am on a fixed income.\nNow, for Dr. Tyler Li, he is so gentle and really knows what he is doing, when it comes to making the dentures fit, and the few adjustments that were needed when done. I owe him gratitude of thanks for making me feel like a human being. I just wished I didn’t wait so long. Thanks again! Lena\n\n
