In fairness, I’m not really sure what the quality of their work is since they continue to ignore me. They seemed to know what they were talking about when they came to do an estimate on replacing my roof but I never actually received that estimate, even after calling and emailing to follow up. You wouldn’t think it would be so hard to get someone to take your money. I see that they have billboards all across the valley saying that they are hiring so maybe they don’t have anyone to replace my roof or return my call.
What a selection! I had visited 2 other places for my new countertops, but none that were as impressive as Eastern. The process was painless, counters look outstanding! Will buy from them again when its time to do my master bathroom.
I will never buy flooring from anyone else! I had Remita rugs put new carpet in me entire upstairs and family room and they had it done on schedule as promised with very reasonable pricing. They did not follow right behind when I picked them out, they let me shop and were not pushy at all. Very helpful. They even sent a thankyou card and a gift basket delivered to my house with cookies and chocolates. I will never hesitate to reccomend Remita rugs!
By far the worst company I have dealt with. The contract I signed, states they will protect my property with tarps from falling debris. They failed to do this, causing a lot of damage to my property, and 22 year old shrubs. (See photo above). They also caused damage to my siding, gutters, and screens. Then two weeks later they had to come back and repair they roof they installed two weeks before. Being a disabled vet, I had to listen to rude comments by this contractor about vets. Currently taking them to court for the damages they caused to my property. Please save yourself the trouble and headaches I have been through with these people and don't hire them. When discussing the damages with them, they just stand on the pavement outside my home and laugh. I found out later they did not even apply for the required permit to do the work in my community. Now Paul Wrights Roofing has to deal with that. They also cancelled my five year warranty. For dishonesty, I would give them ten stars.
We had a great overall experience with Eastern Surfaces. They were consultative without being pushing. The team that came to the house to do the removal of existing countertops, installation of the quartz countertops and back splash ensured they cleaned up after themselves, were respectful, but most importantly, everything turned out great. We recently use this company through our kitchen designer. One of the worst experiences we have ever had. First we had to go to Allentown to select our granite slab, 2 hours each way. Once selected we had so many problems with crooked cuts and install which made the counter not align straight with our range and overhang was uneven. Our island had to be redone 3 times. The second time we trusted them to pick the slab from the same lot as first and they actually brought a slab with a visible crack (natural) over 20 inches long and the other corner had black marks approx 12 x 12 that looked like a child had taken a marker to it. Insisted on the owner coming to look at this mess. We had it redone, but it took three times and countless appointments of templating, going to look at slabs, etc. After insisting on some sort of compensation, they gave us a $350 discount on a $5000 dollar job and no apology.
I had concerns with my roof so I looked on YP. I had a contractor who will remain un-named, whom submitted a proposal to me, stating my whole roof would be replaced. I wanted to get different opinions, so Fred was the next contractor to arrive and he walked around my roof, took pictures, I also showed him some water spots from the inside. He was honest and told me some minor repairs would be required but that the issues did not warrant replacing the entire roof which saved me a boat load of money. I would recommend calling Fred, doing some homework and watching out for the predators just looking to make money, telling you that you need to replace something when it is not necessary because they want and need your hard earned money. Fred is currently working up an estimate for the required work. I will submit an additional review after the work has been accepted and completed, but for right now I would have to say this guy seems like the real deal....
The gentleman who helped us was knowledgeable in what we needed, however is attitude was not very customer savy. His answers were very short and as if he thought he was above helping us. I will definitely be searching for a friendly supplier
