I booked an appointment with this business one time, and then found I was going to have to cancel it. They have a 24 hour cancellation policy or they charge you $100 bucks. I called for days the week before my appointment, and could not get through. No answering machine after hours either to take a message. I believe this was all a ruse to be able to bilk patients out of $100 bucks for not being able to cancel within that 24 hour time limit. I wrote them a letter of cancellation 3 days before my appointment and send it via certified mail. I told them of the problem of not being able to reach them by phone. I said that if I was billed for this appointment that I was unable to cancel by phone, I would bill them $100 for the letter of cancellation and postage for the certified letter I had to send out to them to cancel my appointment. I didn't hear anything from them. So now, years later, I went to my family Dr. for an appointment, and he suggested I see an ENT, and unbeknown to me, they called Allen Ear, Nose, and Throat to make the appointment. Allen ENT said that they would not take me as a patient due to an outstanding balance of $100. They never notified me, called me, sent me a bill or anything. Talk about hypocrites? They know nothing of what the "Hypocratic Oath" states as doctors. They would represent what I would call the "Hypocritical Oath." I will now forward on my bill of $100 dollars to them and mark the balance unpaid until I receive the payment for it. Talk about a bogus business, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for a good ENT, look for a professional, not Allen ENT!
I was eager to see this ENT doctor due to ongoing problems related to a prior ear infection (tinnitus, ETD/pressure, etc.). This doctor was recommended by my PCP so I made an appointment straight away. The soonest I was able to be seen was a month later, which I understand, but by that time I was eager for assistance. So it was to my extreme disappointment that not only was the doctor totally unhelpful but also condescending and rude. He dismissed my problems when my hearing test came back in the normal range (my problems were not hearing related) and he sent me on my way. This was extremely distressing and not at all what I waited a month for. I booked another appointment at a different ENT in the area and was treated with much more respect and care. I will never be back to this ENT again.
Woke up one day with complete hearing loss in one ear. ... I was given an EXPENSIVE hearing test by a Tech to be told, "Acute hearing loss". ... I never met with Dr. Gaylor. I saw a Physicians Assistant who prescribed a very low dose of prednizone, and referred me to ANOTHER ENT MD in Philadelphia. Bills were submitted to Medicare and aetna for HUNDREDS of dollars, AND they required me to pay over $150.00 on top of that. ... Regarding the low-dose of prednisone. The OTHER ENT MD that I visited in Philadelphia doubled the dose. ... HUNDREDS of dollars charged to be told what I already knew, I could not hear, and to be given a prescription of insufficient dosage. ... You tell me, how many stars would you give them? ... Greed is a vulgar sin.
