On June 18, 2018, I had the pleasure of meeting a very special technician, from Cyprus Air. Prior to his visit, I had seen another tech. on two separate occasions. After countless calls for help. Matt appeared at my home. The moment he entered, I could feel the warmth and friendliness he brought with him. When he entered my home, I told him the same thing I told the tech, that came to my home before him.
With a smile, he stated Ms. Jackson, I am here to solve your problem. I told Matt, the AC system had never been used. When I turned the system on earlier this month, it began to blow warm air. I did not need to say anything else. With a smile, Matt began to check my system. Within minutes he had the system running. He waited with us, until he was sure the system was functioning properly. While he waited, he explained to me the actual function of the system and how it was suppose to work. Because of the way he explained it, I understood every word. You see, Matt has an ability, the other tech did not have. Matt, has the ability to listen, a very special quality.
He stayed with us, until he was sure my system was functioning properly. My husband suffers with OAD, because of a stroke and heat is his enemy. Matt solved our problem, with patience and professionalism. To date, there has been no problems with our system, and it is still where it was set.

Worst customer service and worst techs in the industry. Rick S showed ready to work and then started making up excuses why he wouldnt do the work. It was obvious he didnt want to work Saturday and appeared he had a hangover from his slurred speech and the way he was walking. He then stated he needed to rip out half the ceiling instead of a tiny hole. He ended up walking off the job after 30 minutes. The next crew came out and installed things wrong, faulty equipment, and failed the inspection on 4 categories. The next crew was sent out from 3-5pm and showed up at 9pm to fix it. I had a 3 month yr old and 3yrd old in bed, but with all the banging on pipes and noise for the next hour, it was a disaster. Finally he fixed all the shotty work and broken materials the last crew used. Finally passed inspection and through every step of the process, Shantae was rude, upsetting, and kept telling me I was wrong with everything. She loves to argue and I even caught her in several lies. The job is finally finished and when I emailed/called Indira Guerrero multiple times to complain, she would never respond. Totally blew me off when I wanted to voice my concern about the horrible work and customer service. My wife and I will never use this company again. We were thinking about upgrading both AC units, but not with this company. I was hoping Indira Guerrero the General Manager could help out at all, but she didnt even care to respond back about my complaints along the way. I just got the bill and wanted to speak to her before paying for the horrible services, but not even upper management cares. This company just wants your money and doesnt care about the customer. Every time I complained to a manger, all I got was "this is our best guy and this never happens". I never received word back about any of my complaints. Wish I had never gone with this company.. Would love to hear from someone higher than Indira Guerrero, who doesnt care at all. BEWARE AND STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
Bunch of Keystone Cops. Sold me a unit to heat 2400 house but all the heat goes up the chimney and none into the house. Closed vent unit in second fireplace provides lots of heat but quit working the second day. Asked for them to remove units and refund my money and they said NO WAY. Had to spend extra $2,000 to buy a different unit for the main living area to at least provide some heat. My recommendation - AVOID AT ALL COST.

This company took us for a ride! First it took over a year to get the promised $500 rebate. Almost 20 phone calls and countless lies later, we were finally able to get $300 from BGE and Cyprus paid the other $200 since they turned the wrong paper work in to BGE. Now, 1 1/2 later, after we purchased a brand new AC unit and a Furnace from Cyprus Air, we still have not had their technicians over to service the equipment, since they are completely incompetent in keeping A SINGLE appointment, even after we filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau!! It is simply shocking how they are still in business!! My husband and I are now out a total of 5 business days of lost wages, sitting around and waiting for them to show up. In the end, the stress and frustration was just too much to deal with, and we closed the case with BBB down, "un-satisfied". We have hired a reliable HVAC company that cares about customer service instead. Go to BBB, with the last count of Cyprus Air complaints in the past 3 years...Whoah, be careful!!!
Recently we had our gas fireplace insert serviced by Sahdula A. who accomplished the annual maintenance in an excellent and knowledgeable manner. He told us about the availability of a "platinum" ember product that would enhance the appearance and performance of the gas logs. We purchased it and he was right so thank you Sahdula!
We ordered two campfire model log sets from Cyprus. One fireplace was already plumbed for natural gas and we were replacing an older log set. The other fireplace needed to have gas service installed. This installation proved to be more difficult than anticipated, but the installer (William) was innovative and got the job done in a very professional manner. After a week we noticed that one of the remotes was operating both fireplaces and that one of the pilot lights was making a noticeable hissing noise. William returned within a few days, changed the frequency on one of the remotes and its log set and adjusted the offending pilot. Problems solved. So far we love the products and have already put both fireplaces to more use than they received all last season. William and his assistants as well as the office staff were pleasant and professional throughout our dealings.
