I was a member here for quite a few years, used to be a good CU, but rates have made me move about 10 CDs elsewhere over time and now customer service is terrible.Tried to log in the other day to get statement, was locked out and sent to a page saying my browser (Opera 47) was not supported. I'm a computer geek/programmer and was surprised cause Opera is maybe the most secure browser out there.So I also still have IE (v11) on one system and tried to log in using that and got the same page locking me out. penfed.org/unsupported which doesn't mention Opera at all.So called, busy, busy busy signal and finally got thru only to be on hold for over 15 min. so hung up.Then sent an email about this, was told that Opera is supported (v39 and above) ... mine is v47. So I replied telling them this and after 4 days never got another reply.Called again this morning and it wasn't hard to tell the 2 ppl I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about, asked me to send a screen shot to another email address which I will but done dealing with this CU regardless of rates.
DO NOT USE THIS BANK! Worst mistake of our life was transferring our money to this bank. Want customer service? Don't expect it here. Want reps that care about you and your account? Don't expect it here. Want to keep your money and not have it "mysteriously disappear" due to hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees even though your bank account is in the positive? Don't expect anything less than theft, robbery, and deception here.This credit union is the most unethical organization possible. When they make a mistake (which is OFTEN), they make the customer take hours and days out of their life calling, visiting, and trying to track down the right person to talk to. They purposefully send you on a wild goose chase, hoping that you will give up so that they won't have to give you back the money that they took from you.We even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they responded with "we can't discuss internal affairs". They are crooks and liars. We still haven't gotten our money back from them and can't buy groceries because of it, we are behind on our bills because they still have our money. I can't even keep track of the DOZENS of people I've spoken to there who keep telling me to talk to someone else. And when we finally get an appointment with the manager- he suddenly calls in sick that day. SHOCKING. Not. We spent 8 months at this bank and it was the worst experience of our life. In total during our time with them, they illegally took over $1,000 from us and we have only gotten half of it back so far even though they keep promising that the rest will be returned to us "soon". We are not millionaires. A thousand dollars is our rent, our bills, and what we need to survive. They are about to have us evicted because we can't pay our rent now. We have been eating at friend's houses because we don't have money for food. DO NOT USE THIS BANK IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY!THEY WILL STEAL, LIE, AND RUIN YOUR LIFE!
