Pier 1 Imports

This is the best Pier 1 that I've been in. I've always been able to find something that I want. One of the things I like is that the people working there let you shop. They greet you when you come in, ask if they can help, and then leave you alone to shop. I like not being pressured. And when I'm ready to check out I don't have to wait at the register for someone to show up to check me out. They are always there.

Whoever wrote the review "Awful Management" is obviously written by a disgruntled employee. Sounds personal to me. I haven't experienced any of this, and neither have any of my friends who shop there. They must have a new manager now, or this review is based on another location, not the Alexandria store.

The store manager is an absolute disgrace to the company... how she is able to remain working for that company to this day is BEYOND me because she has absolutely no social skills, she's rude and intrusive and discusses her very personal and private life with anyone she can find in that store. I've filed complaints as well as some of my friends and neighbors who do their shopping at Pier 1 as well. It is so hard for me to shop in there because she has no idea what "personal space" is. I'm not even kidding, this woman waits for someone to walk through the front door and then she stands right in front of you with her face about 2 inches away from yours. She's very loud and obnoxious and it wouldn't surprise me if she was on drugs. All her employees look like they go through hell working with her. I don't do my shopping at that store anymore... I go to Lafayette just so I don't have to put up with this woman. Seriously Pier 1, fire this lady. She's causing you to lose a lot of business!
