I got this rental through an insurance company as the result of a wreck that wasnt my fault. Had another accident a few days later which also was the other party's fault,totalled the rental,here we are 6 days later being told its gonna take days longer to get me into another rental. Service at Hertz is horrible,no information,no details,no compassion.

Unorganized, reserved a truck 2 weeks ahead on the day to pick it up they had rented it out before I got there, then at the last minute tells e they have to run a credit check. Never gave me that info ahead of time, they gave me a caravan instead that was dirty and full of dog hair. Very bad experience will never use them again!

I had a wonderful first rental experience with them. I originally had an 11:00 reservation. When I arrived they did not have any rentals available and we're waiting for one to be returned. I waited for a couple of hours, but was given an SUV instead of the smaller vehicle I reserved at no additional charge and was given a 10% discount on my 5 day rental total. I will happily use them in the future!
Cashier had paperwork already printed out when I got there. What I failed to notice until the next day was that she put that I picked up the car at 5pm instead of 8pm per my reservation time.Also, put that I returned it Sunday morning at 10am instead of Saturday evening at 7pm.Had to call 4 times to get issued a credit. Still don't see the credit. They keep saying to give it more time to show up.
This location in particular is difficult to work with. On numerous occasions I've arrived early for my reservation time - perhaps an hour or two - and had to wait for them to get a car ready for me. So the other day I made sure I reserved the car a couple hours early so it would be ready when I got there. I arrived two hours after my reservation time only to be told they didn't have a car ready. They explained that because I was late they gave my car to someone else and I'd have to wait. So apparently if you aren't exactly on time, be prepared to wait for a car. Their explanation of why they do this to customers was that they don't keep enough cars in their inventory. Not sure how that's the customer's fault.

I WASN'T SURPRISED TO SEE ANOTHER REVIEW ABOUT THE SAME KINDA TREATMENT. I WAS SURE SHE HADN'T JUST STARTED TREATING CUSTOMERS DISRESPECT. THEY WILL FIND ANY EXCUSE TO CHANGE YOUR CARD FOR EXTRA MONEY. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN THE CAR HAD A BAD SMELL WITH A LOT OF DENTS TO THE BODY.THE MANAGEMENT IS VERY POOR OTHER WISE THIS PERSON WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB.SHE LOOKS FOR ANYTHING TO CHARGE EXTRA.IF FOR ANY REASON YOU HAVE TO RENT FROM THIS COMPANY MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT THE VEHICLE IN ITS ENTIRETY AND REPORT IT.OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE CHARGED AS IF YOU DID THE DAMAGE.
This is absolutely the WORST car rental business to rent from. They are ALL very unprofessional. They are rude and DO NOT have any respect for their customers. The young lady at the counter has the nastiest attitude I have ever encountered in my LIFE when it comes to customer service. This was my second time renting from them in which I DID NOT want to, but being that Enterprise who has 3 locations in my area DID NOT have any rentals they were my last resort. I am assuming I am not the only person whom feels this way in my area because when I arrived there their parking lot was filled with rentals unlike Enterprise whom had NONE. I would never recommend anyone to rent a car from this business. Especially the location on 3220 Jackson St. Alexandria, LA 71301. They need to learn the core values of customer service because I am pretty sure if it was one of them on the other side of the counter they would NOT want to be treated as such. Treat People as you want to be treated! My MOTTO to live by DAILY!!
This was the worst experience I've ever had renting a car.1. I made the reservation without a card online, yet, I was told that my husband would be an extra cost, from 199. to 264 for a 5 day rental. I told them, yes, I made the reservation but he would be the only driver. The young girl at the desk said that she would have to cancel the entire reservation and charge a walk in fee. I told her that was uncalled for, that I held a car for rent and I wasn't a walk-in, and there wasn't anything on the website that suggested that there would be a higher charge for 2 drivers.2. I told her to cancel the reservation and only put my husband as the only driver. I was not paying the extra 65 dollars. She said she NEVER did this before but would cancel the reservation in my name but I would have to wait for the manager to come to clear the cancellation. Yet, she changed it to his name and gave him the keys without a manager. 3. When we looked at the vehicle it had 1 ding and a scuff mark. My husband went back in to report this to the girl (she was the only one working that day), and she created a slip that showed the damage4.Once in the car, it showed it was less than one half full. We opted to bring it back full. My husband went back in and reported it and the young lady said to bring it back half full. I told my husband to have her put it in writing but he was so exhausted from the trip he didn't push it. We'll see if they charge us for a full tank of gas when we return it.
