Tiger lanes is now known as England Airpark Lanes and the new number is 318-704-6695. New owners and new attitude. Worth the trip
The pins and balls get stuck very often. The first 2 times we went we used a "free game" pass and the guy running the register said it covered up to 8 ppl and all we had to pay for was shoe rental for each person who played. We had no issues with that. The guy then gave us another free game pass upon payment. When we went back and attempted to use the pass he gave us, he looked at us dumb founded and said the card only covered one player. And he don't know who told us otherwise or who gave us the card and rang us up the previous time. We told him "it was you!" He continued to look at us dumb founded. So we all (7 players) handed him back out bowling shoes and walked out. Not sure how one visit a free game card can pay for 6 ppl then the next visit it only pays for one person. By the way the young guy was dark complected with black hair and usually wears a baseball cap. He appears to be 18-22 years of age.
One should always contact ownership first before posting complaints reguarding conditions.
Just a comment on bowling conditions and bowler safety on the night of 01/26/15. My team was on lanes 3 &4. All the chairs around our table were deploreable. I tried to find one that was safe to sit on, out of about 10 chairss I found one to use that I thought would be useable, and the seat was split on it. There was 3 chairs that had loose seats &/or backs, 1 with a twisted leg, 2 with nails or screws poking thru the seats, all the rest had seats litterly torn to pieces. We had pinsetter problems, ball return problems, and pins flying out of the rack onto the lanes. We had one response to "dead wood"on the lanes. The chairs need to be thrown in the dumpster, as that is a serious injury just waiting to happen. I got stabbed by one of the sharp objects in the seat. The entire house is like that. Out of 10 lanes, we will be lucky if 6 of them work, but you still have numerous problems if they are useable. We want to see this house up and running,a good place for our bowlers, a safe place for our bowlers, and a dependable customer friendly staff that has our bowlers interest at heart. We don't want our senior citizen, which bowl on the senior league to come and fall thru a chair or get a nail in the rear, we want them to come, feel safe and enjoy themselves. Something has got to be done with this business, so us bowlers can enjoy coming to this facility, feel confident, safe, and have an enjoyable good time.
I started taking my children here to bowl to avoid all ppl at four seasons. My kids love that they can just walk around freely. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. However this bowling alley isn't for anyone who takes bowling really serious it's for having fun. I would recommend this to anyone laid back and casual.
I do not recommend this place to anyone. I visited here with a group of friends while in town. This was our first and last time going here. The ball return was very delayed and we had to beg the owner to let us switch lanes. The new lane worked good for about 15 minutes only for it to begin to soon act up as well. Do not spend your money here go elsewhere. We all began to get frustrated because we couldn't enjoy bowling. We paid for 3 games only bowled 1.5 games and did not receive a refund.
The center is under new ownership with a new phone number: (318) 542-7615
