I'm not the type of person to really leave reviews, but honestly the customer service was so horrible, I can’t' in good conscience not warn other people to keep them from having the same bad experience! I called HT’s Appliance to take a look at my Maytag washing machine. The technician came out that afternoon, looked at it, told my husband it was fixed. He also told us we had a 30 day warranty and if the machine didn’t work properly, to please call them back. When I returned home from work, excited to finally wash the piles of clothes that had accumulated, I discovered that the machine wasn’t fixed. No problem, right? Because the technician said to ‘just call them back and they’d be happy to come back out.” How very wrong! The next morning I called. The owner of HT’s Appliance proceeded to yell at me and say that it was my fault because my husband attempted to fix the machine before calling them. He refused to honor the warranty and even became belligerent when I offered to pay for any additional work that needed to be completed. This man literally screamed at me for about 5 minutes before I hung the phone up on him. During the argument, he even admitted that all his technician did was screw the back cover back on the machine for a fee of $55. If you live in Central Louisiana and need an appliance serviced AVOID HT’S APPLIANCE! Go to Sears Department Store, call David Jr.’s Appliance and Repair, go buy a new appliance! Anything is better than giving this horrible person your hard earned money and experiencing the rude, non-professional behavior that is HT’s Appliance!
