I continue to have a problem with misdelivery of my mail or receiving other people's mail. On Wednesday this week, on or about 27 May 2009, I don't have a calendar with me, but when I ask the postman to take a letter that had been left at my house that belonged to another house, he replied, "just keep it until tomorrow when I come by and I can pick it up and redeliver it then. Since he was right there, was it wrong to ask him to take it and deliver it correctly? It was in the 3900 block of Smith Ave. I also have gotten the Pros Ranch Market paper, and even though Pros Ranch Market tells me it's been given to the post office for delivery, for the recent last three or four weeks, the postman hasn't delivered it to my house. Can you please check on this for me and provide a response. My email address, I'm sure will show up on the screen when I press send.

If you are expecting a pkg by priority mail and you never receive it, do not expect any help from the post office. The supervisor at this location said if the tracking status for the pkg indicated it was "delivered", there was nothing that could be done. I was told their obligation is over even if a carrier delivered it to a wrong address. I even asked if there was a process for monitoring cases where the customer said they didn't receive pkgs that their post office said they delivered and was told no. I would think the postal service would want to know if there were a "rash" of these instances going on . If someone is stealing pkgs in a particular area, wouldn't they want to know about it? I guess not if they have no accountability to deliver.
We have had a repeated problem of our mail not being delivered, as well as having our mail delivered to the wrong apartment. We also had a package left on our doorstep right out in the open where anyone could have grabbed it. When we went to the post office to try to complain and to find out what was happening to our mail were ignored and the associates wouldn't let us talk to a supervisor. If I could use another post office I would.
I'm from Laredo, TX, and I just want to thank Sean for his commendable effort in helping trying to locate my packet. I got the utmost and most courteous response from him. The people in Albuquerque who deal with the North Valley Post Office will greatly benefit from his performance there. He is an exceptional asset to your post office. Thank you Sean, for your help!!!!
