Outstanding, professional. I can see why so busy with the loads of work she gets. And probably why it too a little longer than promised. But very well worth the wait. She made the most beautiful stole for a priest friend of mine.
Had some curtains made for my living room. They ended up in the garbage. Who put pleets in the back? Really! Not only that but they were not even the same size! The sewing, I could had done a better job myself and I've never have done it before! AWFUL work!
I have been taking items in for alteration weekly for about two months. My items always come back with a perfect fit! I highly recommend!
The owner promised to do the first fitting of my evening gown on 26 April, so I gave him $100 down payment. He did no work whatsoever on my dress; he didn't even take the fabric out of the bag I brought. I asked for my money back and this is what he did: He had three $20 bills and two $10 bills, and kept calling out, "20, 40, 60, 80, 100." He was trying to scam me. I counted out loud with him FIVE times before he got it right by using all $20 bills. Beware of this guy!
I had 3 uniform pants needing hemming and 3 uniform shirts needing patches on the left sleeve. I called them on Tuesday, 8/11/15, for pricing and how long the turn around time would be. they quoted me $8.00 for pants and $4.00 for patches and would be ready next Wednesday, 8/19. I dropped them off after work and was told at this time they would not be ready until Thursday, 8/20, after 4:00pm. I arrived on Friday, 8/21, at 4:00pm and was told they were not ready. To return tomorrow just before 1:00pm as they close at 1:00pm. I called at 12:00pm on Monday, 8/26, to verify if the clothes were ready. I was assured they were ready. I arrived at 2:50pm that day to be told they were not ready by the same lady I spoke with on the phone earlier in the day. She asked me to wait 15 minutes and she'll have them done. I actually waited 40 minutes. paying at the register, she charged me $12.00 for each pants and $4.00 for the patches. I questioned her about being quoted $8.00 for hemming pants over the phone, she said that that price is for jeans. She said she charges $10.00 for dress pants and $12.00 for uniform pants. I asked her about them being late from the day I was promised. She said it just took longer than expected. So, 5 days late and $12.00 + tax more than I was quoted, and not even an apology, I finally got my uniforms. Beware of this shop; very unprofessional, terrible customer service, and very deceiving.
The owner is rude, unprofessional, and did a horrible job on the alterations. Do not go here. Ever. I should have taken the uber-tacky biker patches proudly displayed on her wall as a warning. Full story below:I dropped my dress of on a Thursday afternoon and she said it would be ready by Monday. I called Monday and I got, "Tomorrow afternoon at the latest." Finally, Thursday (today) my SO picked up the dress because I was out of town. I tried it on that night, and what do you know, the dress that used to be just a bit too big is now too small. She did not apologize and hinted that it was all my fault for not personally picking up the dress. Then, she refuses to come in a half hour early to fix her mistake. I wouldn't ordinarily care about half an hour but, I have wedding activities to do early that day and I have to get the dress altered. If she had done her job when she said she was going to, or god forbid done it correctly, this wouldn't be a problem. Oh, and best of all, her hours are clearly listed as 8-5, I asked her to come in at 8 to do the alteration.
I have used Perfect Fit for alterations, to make my daughter a cheerleading outfit (without a pattern!), my wedding dress, and tailor and custom-made made slacks. I would not trust anyone else for my dressmaking and alteration needs
I've used Tuye for over 20 years to do my uniforms; alterations, stripes, name tags. She has also altered my high school umpire and referee uniforms; same excellent work. She's efficient and affordable and very accommodating. I have recommended her to friends, family, and other airmen/soldiers and they are very happy with her work.
Do NOT take your clothes here. She was two days late with altering my clothes and all I asked her to do was hem the bottom of my pants. When my husband went to pick them up (for the second time) she STILL didn't have them ready! She "quickly" finished the hem, then realized she forgot to sew part of it up. She handed him the pants, which were a wrinkled mess! Might I add, when I gave them to her they were brand new and ironed. After seeing his expression she took them back and "ironed" them, though they are still far more wrinkled than when I gave them to her. The stitches are sloppy and I have yet to try them on to see if she actually measured them right. If you value your time and clothes, go elsewhere!
