currently live here and let me tell you what, it sucks! There's racist Indians that cuss at you when you take your dog to the restroom, there's a woman that literally stood outside watching my dog pee and told me to pick the stool up which there was non. Someone literally went through our laundry and stole stuff from it, our ac leaks from three spots every single day and literally floods the sink, and also our refrigerator stopped working yesterday and all of our food went bad. They say it's pet friendly but I got a written notice left on my door because my dog was off the leash playing fetch with me. Anyways, most people are extremely rude, the appliances are cheap, there's people yelling at 11 o 'clock at night and fighting. And there's also homeless people sleeping behind the dumpster at the apartment complex. I do not feel safe at all walking to and from my vehicle at night because of this.
When I first moved in a had two weeks from signing to begin moving my things in. The previous flooring was carpet, and it was ripped out then replaced with vinyl flooring which was not even glued down to the previous vinyl flooring which should have also been removed. Therefore being that there was once carpet , the trim on the floor wasn't fixed within the two week period of me moving In and never was fixed within my six month lease. They knew about it. And brought it up to me and never did they fix it. The drywall patches on the walls are not professional either , there were poorly fixed dents fixed with PAINT. Also small roaches crawling everywhere at night upstairs and downstairs apartments, on your counters, walls, & Floors. Walls are thin you can hear neighbors if they speak loud enough, but you should expect that in joined apartments. I love next to an alcoholic Indian to enjoys sleeping on his doorstep drunk in his underwear and loves to yell at his wife who also doesn't help by egging him on to yelling more. Children will occasionally run up and down your stairs which is annoying but they have only the grass and stairs to climb on and play around over here. Lived with three crazy neighbors who all got kicked evicted for fighting and yelling over here. Seen the cops here three times and my spouse was actually spoken to by officers about an incident of a woman violently screaming for 15 seconds coming from a nearby apartment
Worst experience ever!!! We'll never try this place for living and call it our next home at any price and would continue to communicate our first experience with the property senior management: On Saturday 10/22 2016, I and my spouse with our two kids (one three months old) went to see the complex at 4:10pm local time. We called the leasing office in advance. Unfortunately, my spouse did forget to bring her State ID while she had her CNM (Photo ID) and original SOCIAL SECURITY card -- which wasn't accepted by this unprofessional and with less customer service experience lady (Jennifer) at the property's leasing office. She demanded for her State ID, so I decided to drive back home and grab her State ID. The lady told us if we could make it back by 430pm, we will be able to see the property. So, we did return with the requested ID at 429pm according to leasing office "WALL CLOCK" and didn't know that this unprofessional lady will make another stupid excuse; she told us that her computer clock is 431pm now, so she cannot proceed with the request. We were totally shocked and tried showing her the leasing office WALL CLOCK which was 429pm but she ignored and kept telling us that her computer clock shows 431pm and she does not go by WALL CLOCK. She turned her face and didn't talk further, she never apologized for the inconvenience. Her reaction was so rude that we can't explain in writing.
I've been living in Wyoming place apt for 10 months now and everything was fine until the maintenance man , junkie stepson moved in and started stealing everybody's car . I would recommend this place unless you have full coverage on your vehicle . Also , I'm in the process of doing a background check on the maintenance man , his stepson and anybody else that's on the lease . The tenants claims that they are all thieves and convicted felons . If these allegations are true , I can assure you that these are not the people that you want to have a key or access to your apartment . Smdh , someone has really dropped the ball on these people
I have lived here for Min and now they are telling me what I can have in my apartment I feel like I'm a prisoner in my own place and that's not right we should be able to live the way we want
I wish I had the option to give AH4R NO stars, because that's what they deserve. Sketchiest rental company I've ever dealt with. They are impossible to get a hold of, and if you're lucky enough to get a call back they have no idea who you are or what you need because they don't listen to their voicemails. If you end up with Nick Stratton out of Arizona as a property manager, then you're pretty much screwed. He is dishonest, incompetent, and pretentious. He blatantly lied to my co-signer about a number of issues, and only admitted that he lied when I called him out on it.They won't fix anything in my house. The ceiling fan in my bedroom has not worked since the day I moved in, and the garbage disposal goes out at least once a week. They refuse to fix either, saying they are "cosmetic" repairs and I need to find someone on my own to fix them. They "misfiled" my rent check for September 2014 (their exact words) and as a result, I had to give them another $1000 plus $300 extra for late charges and such or they were going to evict me. After they received the check and everything was settled, I STILL got a summons to go to court and they're now charging me $400 for filing and court fees.If you are looking for a company to rent from, run as far away as you can from this place. You will regret it, I guarantee. We are so desperate to break our lease early and get out, and they are completely unwilling to give us any options or even work with us.STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN HOMES 4 RENT.
I believe that honesty is the best policy, so I am going to present both the positive and negative aspects of Broadstone Heights, despite the fact that I feel the negative far outweigh the positive. With that being said, I have lived here for the last 15 months, and can honestly say that the maintenance crew is wonderful. They have gotten to all of my issues within a day of my filing a maintenance request. Furthermore, the grounds are pretty and well maintained. I also like the fact it is gated. I have only seen it broken 3 times at most while I have been here, and most of the time it was not broken for long. The complex is centrally located and has everything nearby from grocery stores to dog parks. Finally, the apartments are nice with high ceilings, crown molding, and large windows. Now I get to the part where I tell you the reason for my stay being only 15 months. Once in October of 2012, and again in July of this year (2013) the apartment complex broke into my garage, removed my items (the first time throwing away my property), and tried to move someone else in. Now, I should say that we had been paying for the garage in October and the office "didn't know" that it belonged to anyone and therefore, took it over. The second time, we had put the garage in our lease and had been paying for it, but were unknowingly taken off our garage because someone had said that the garage remote they turned in had belonged to our garage. So this means that either someone had access to my garage other than myself, or the apartment complex did not check to see who the person was or which garage the remote actually belonged to. Either way, I found my things missing, and people moving into my garage yet again. To be fair, the manager did switch out the remotes to the garages after this incident so that supposedly this wouldn't happen again, but I'm not sticking around to find out if this is the case. (They did not check my name or garage number when I turned my remote in after my garage leaked this last week, so it makes me wonder if anything has changed.) In all honesty, the final straw was not even the second break-in, it was when my husband and my name were removed from our apartment gas bill. The apartments claimed that they did not have the right to remove people from the bill, but they didn't have the right to break into my garage either. So, in conclusion I am simply tired of fixing Broadstone Heights' staff mistakes; I do not have the time and feel I pay too much for the apartment to deal with these issues. Therefore, I'm happily moving out. Make the judgment for yourself whether to live here or not, but for my husband and me, it simply is not worth the hassle. I just wish we had heeded the warnings of others.
I thought this place was awesome... until the sewage overflowed. The office manager (Amy) and the head maintenance guy (Lee) kept saying things like "oh, thank god it was just clean water;" implying that it was just shower water that overflowed from the showers and toilets. The fourth time this happened (in the span of 14 months) I wised up enough to snap pictures of the copious amount of feces caking the inside of my tub. Upon seeing my pictures, Amy and Lee continued to deny that it was sewage, and refuse to do anything beyond cleaning our carpets. Code enforcement told me that they'd recommend Amy moving us to a new apartment ; she claims that they said nothing was wrong with the apartment. 4 sewage overflows in just over 1 year, and "nothing is wrong with the apartment?" This would be a great place if it wasn't run by scumbags.
Unfourtant the staff is uncaring to elders needs! I would not suggest leaving a loved one in the care of this poorly managed community. Very often cars are broke into including the maintance crew whom enter homes without written position. The theft that becomes a daily problem within these elderly homes is very sad as they do not address these issues. There is also a crew member who works in maintance who is a convicted felon for a serious violent crime who should not be working in this type of enviroment. Overall not a safe community.
