I have a wolfdog, dog & horse rescue in Tijeras, & I also work very long hours at my business in Albuquerque. On numerous occasions I have needed animal care & house sitting & I always rely on Daris Reno to help me out.Many rescued animals can be fearful of humans especially the recued wolfdogs & horses. It was amazing to me how quickly my wolfdogs warmed up to Daris, & the horses were so comfortable with her immediately.Over the years, Daris & I have become personal fiends & I learned when living back east Daris was married to a veterinarian & was also involved with fostering & rescuing animals so this also was a big plus for me.Several times also when shelter dogs needed transport to safety, a rescue or a new home, Daris would volunteer her time to help me out on the long transport trips. I can’t even begin to say how kindhearted & truly caring Daris is towards animals.If you are in need of pet care & house sitting for your animals, Daris is honest & The best you are ever going to find. Very unprofessional. The owner is rude and disrespectful. I don't know if the owner was just having a bad day but when you own your own business or when you are working with people you have to learn to put aside your problems.
The staff is extremely friendly, very professional, and all are very sensitive to your animal's care. I have used them several times -- just wish they were closer to where I lived or work. I've called them the day before and the morning before I brought over my dog, and they have always been accomodating. Great service!
I took our two Huskies in today to get groomed! So here are my thoughts: Cons: I wish more hair had been cut from the hindquarters area on one of the dogs. But it could just seem like a lot right now because she is so fluffy! Pros: Told me it could take up to 5 hours for both dogs, but they finished in 2.5 hours!Both dogs look amazing! So soft and they smell great. I explained that both dogs were rescues, and one was abused before they took him away from his previous owner. I told them that they both get anxious, and they were very receptive and listened to my concerns, and were so sweet to our babies!I left treats for them, and they definitely gave them some for me :)Both dogs looked so happy!! And that is what really matters. Thank you so much! Will definitely be back again.
Do not be confused by the one star rating my computer could not delete it. Anyhow, do not ever, ever, ever take your pets here. Owner is rude and unreliable. The only predictable things about this place are the rough way she groomed my cats, raised her voice at me to hold my cat right (basically doing the service myself) and to hurry up and choose a type of cut, being a new cat owner i had no idea what her Fast paced explanations meant, and to top it off she left one side of my cats face unshaved. when i let her know she had attitude with me. If you want to be treated as if you are ignorant and a child this is the right place for you. Only good thing was that the assistant was very sweet. However she too was barked at. Never, ever...
Tanya is the best dog groomer I have ever met! Will never take my dogs to anyone else. She makes all three of my pups feel at ease and gives them back looking amazing!!! Many groomers shy away when I say I have three pit bulls. Not Tanya, she loves them and they love her! Dog Gone Good is my place! Highly recommend!
