The staff at major medical supply went above and beyond to help my husband who needed a home oxygen concentrator immediately. We owned his previous concentrator which quit working and had to get a new prescription for the new one. My doctors office originally went to Apria ((who were horrible and lied to me) they gave us the Doctor the run around for three days, I called my insurance company and asked who else they were contracted with and they gave me Major Medical! What a blessing the staff and the driver were all fabulous and we had his concentrator within hours.
I waited today,19 Sept, for service from apria's service person for my O2 concentrator. After spending the entire day waiting No one showed up or even tried to communicate with me. Upon calling apria at 6pm, I was told the person did come to my house. That is a LIE. I am annoyed and want apria to get in touch with me, 20 Sept. On my first attempt to put in this review I was told that I had to sign in ti YP to leave this message. I do not want any additional communication with YP.
After trying to get oxygen for 7 days---still unable to pick up or deliver. I can't understand why the VA does business with them. Incompetent, uncaring, and totally disorganized. Hoping POC will arrive. It's been 10 days since ordered. Customer service appears to have improved.

Do NOT use Apria Healthcare. Only people you talk to are from call centers overseas with thick accents who do not understand English very well. They are rude and incompetent. More expensive than other places. Head my warning, go somewhere else.
Mom was sent home from hospital on o2 (Tuesday 4/5/16). They were supposed to come pick up tank that evening. Called when we got home at 4 PM and they said they would be by asap. I asked if it would be that day. They said yes. I finally gave up and went home at 8:30 PM. I called and got the after hours line to say that no one would be available to answer the door. Never took a name, just said they could transfer to their voice mail to get the next day. No phone call saying they weren't coming. Here it is Thursday and they still haven't been by to pick up yet. I called and the cs rep said she wasn't even in their system. Lets see if they show up today.
Rude, unsympathetic and also stupid business practices. Don't use them.
So, please explain to me why this company cannot call me the morning of delivery to let me know if they will arrive in the morning or, the afternoon? More importantly why do they keep losing the delivery ticket after I call them? I cannot sit home every day waiting for them to call me. They really should be zero stars. There is no customer service here.
Twice we stayed at Heroes Hall at the VA hospital and twice you did not bring oxygen concentrator for my husband. I cannot give you more stars because you are not reliable. I do not appreciate this kind of business.
I have read so many negative comments about this company its just sad.My experience with major medical and the office personnel has been good. Nathanial was extremely helpful and kind. My delivery man was professional and kind he even called me before he arrived to let me know he was on his way. All I can say is treat people the way you want to be treated and working with the public can be very demanding . Try a little kindness and patience. thank you.
