I had surgery years ago and had a perfect outcome. Dr. Shimanek did a wonderful job. I am still very happy and would do it again. Very good results natural no one would know if I didn't tell.

On 4/28/11 I went in for a simple consultation regarding removal of silicone implants. I was told that the pre-authorization from my insurance company would take up to 6 wks. During that time, I constantly called her office questioning whether they received the pre-auth. After 6 wks went by, I finally called BCBS to learn that not only did her office NOT submit the consultation visit but that NOTHING had been submitted regarding my pre-auth. UNLESS YOU WANT TO DO YOUR OWN PAPER WORK , I WOULD NEVER GO TO HER!! Poorly run place. PS... I had already booked a flight for my niece to come and stay with me for post op care. DO NOT RECOMMEND HER WHAT SO EVER!!!!!

Great experience, loved the doctor! I had read about many horrors on people getting this surgery done, after meeting the doctor all my concerns were put to rest. The price was reasonable and I am really pleased with the results! I wanted my eyes to look less tired but was not trying to completely change my appearance. The people that are very close can tell, but the people I don't know well don't seem to notice. Just what I wanted since this surgery was for "me". Would recommend Doctor Shimanek with no reservations. p.s. My best friend had a facelift by Doc Shimanek and recommended her to me. Just want to pass this on, I want to share a REAL experience that is personal and honest!
