Opened in 1951, New Mexican Kennels is the first pet care facility in New Mexico. Our second-generation, family-owned kennel sits atop a hill in beautiful Albuquerque, NM. As one the most respected boarding facilities in New Mexico staffed by experts in pet care, you can trust that your dog, cat, bird or small animal will receive tender loving care in a safe, clean environment. At New Mexican Kennels, our pampered canine guests each enjoy a climate-controlled indoor suite with an attached outdoor veranda, while feline friends lounge in a separate cattery in condo-style accommodations. We offer individual playtime sessions which our canine Lodgers and daycare guests enjoy in a 3,000-square-foot exercise area known as Pavlovs Garden. Kitties enjoy individual indoor playtime and brushing. And, at the end of each day, we provide late-night bed checks and treats for all lodgers. Breed specific haircuts may be added upon request. We also offer flea-and-tick dips, teeth cleaning, and a de-shed treatment. In our retail pet supply store, youll find super-premium pet foods, grain free foods, toys, treats, supplements, collars, leashes and a variety of other pet-related products. We currently stock the following premium brands of pet food: Fromm, Nature's Variety, NutriSource, Premium Edge and Taste of the Wild. Our pet foods are free of corn, wheat or soy proteins, synthetic preservatives, artificial flavors, and colors, as well as bone meal and by
