He is a member of the State House of Representatives and serves as both the Rules Chair and the Co-Chair of the Interim Ethics Committee. As a legislator, he played a critical role in the passage of the law that created the State Ethics Commission, and in the reform of Conservator/ Guardianship laws and of the Medical Malpractice Act. He has been involved in a great deal of other critical legislation affecting business development, workers’ rights, and environmental improvements.
