I did not want to have to write this critique, but Daniel left me no choice. In June of 2016, Daniel’s Heating and Cooling (DHC) replaced my roof-top swamp cooler. Last month, my wife noticed some staining and buckling in our bedroom ceiling, below where the swamp cooler sits. I called DHC, and thus began the run-around. First, the woman who answered the phone tried to blame me for not buying a service contract. When I told her it had nothing to do with the functionality of the unit, she then said it was beyond the one year installation warranty so I’d have to pay. I reluctantly agreed to pay the service charge in hopes of resolving the leak. The tech found two leaks that were installation related. Based on the rusting damage inside, he assessed it had been leaking for some time. However, after a long phone call, he informed me repairs would not be covered because the warranty had expired. He left that day with my issue unresolved and rain in the forecast. I patched it with duct tape so more water wouldn’t further damage my ceiling. After a few more very frustrating phone calls, they finally agreed to send someone out to reseal around the base of the cooler and the electrical wiring, at no charge. I informed the caller of my patch work and asked her to make sure the workers removed the duct tape. Once I got home, I checked their repairs and found they put the sealant around the electrical wires directly over the duct tape, leaving a questionable repair. When I called back, I got the run-around again. I finally asked to speak directly with Daniel. Three days now I have called DHC asking for Daniel to contact me with no reply from Daniel. My conclusion is that DHC is quick to sell products and perform new work, but after they are done you are left on your own. If you hire him, make sure you check the installation carefully and often in the first year. After that first year, good luck getting them to stand behind their work, or even calling you back.

We had our evaporative cooler installed by Daniel's just two years ago. Of course the warranty has expired and a few weeks ago the low setting began to malfunction. Then this week, we went to turn on the cooler and heard "pop", saw sparks and smelled smoke. We called in an electrical company. Turns out the motor in the unit was fried. They changed out the wall switch and put in a new motor and turned it on..."POP!" and more smoke. The electrician suspected something was wrong with the wiring. He took a look and the wiring was corroded. His diagnostic? The glue used in attaching the conduit to the roof had contributed to corroding the wiring. We could have had a fire!

They took care of me. I used them for air conditioning repairs last July and heating repairs between Christmas and New Year's. Simply put, they took care of me and I highly recommend Daniels.

EXCELLENT CHOICE.......I just recently replaced my evaporative cooler with refrigerated air/heat combo unit. My wife and I took our time finding the right company to perform this task, and after we received five different bids, we chose the right company. Daniels Heating & Air Conditioning went above and beyond what my wife and I would consider normal service. Daniels' staff of professional installers were prompt, courteous and very neat about their service. Daniels's was not only the right choice it was an excellent choice! Thanks again Daniel.

Daniels recently replaced my old swamp cooler with a refrigerated air system. The techs were professional, clean and the job was done as promised. These guys do everything. They fixed some plumbing problems I had and also cleaned my air ducts. I am saving up to have my attic insulated in the spring.

Wonderful service. Tech was prompt and had the problem diagnosed promptly, The service was completed quickly and at a reasonable cost. Tech had part needed on hand and was able to install imediately. I highly recommend this service. If the need arises again will definately call Daniels again. Thank You!

The hot, New Mexican sun can b...

The hot, New Mexican sun can be brutal, especially without a functioning swamp cooler! Luckily, for New Mexicans, there's Daniels Heating and Air Conditioning!

I had two employees come out and service my swamp cooler last night. Their ETA was 5:30 so at 7:00pm, I had given up hope. To my surprise, a DH&AC truck pulled up around 7:15pm!

The guys were very apologetic about the delay and explained how busy they had been. In full appreciation of their efforts, I welcomed them and let them get right down to work!

They worked diligently for two hours! During that time, they communicated the specific problems I was having with my cooler. They explained my charges and seemed to be efficient.

Around 9:15pm, they thanked me for their business, as we wrapped everything up.

I wanted to write a review and let you know just how wonderful I think the staff at Daniels truly are! They were willing to get my cooler fixed the day I requested, stayed extremely late to do so, were polite and respectful, and got the job done!

I couldn't be more pleased! The two gentlemen that serviced the cooler deserve recognition for their efforts and time!

Bravo!

Highly Recommended

I remember seeing Daniels Heating and Air Conditioning on the local news being interviewed about helping families during the coldest winter in decades. I needed my air-conditioner repaired so why not give them a try. I called Daniels and scheduled an appoinment for the next day. The guy was at my house ON TIME and the service was quick. On my receipt I was given the best warranty I have ever received from anyone in the business. I highly recommend this company

SUPERIOR SERVICE

Our old furnace died on the coldest Friday night of the year in Albuquerque; I called many places and everyone else could only promise Monday service. When I called Daniel's the owner himself answered the phone and was at the house within the hour and this was at night. Our furnace was so old he doubted that he could find a replacement part and since there were other issues with our 23 year old furnace I decided it was just time to replace it. Fearing it would take a couple of days the owner told me he could have it installed by the next day! They had other jobs but promised they would work late if necessary to get the job done. The crew of 3 showed up about 6PM and got right to work; they were done withing 2 hours! I was very impressed with their professionalism and quality of work...I will use them exclusively for any of my future HVAC needs.
