They were really friendly, love the pedicure they even removed a deep in grown toenail. Then gave a deep message with a hot towel. It felt amazing for a great price too
I paid an extra $15.00 for gel on my finger nails. Chipped on one finger the next day. Went back and they fixed it. Then two days after that, chipped on three nails. I didn't go back. Other salons I have been to and had the gel done, you can wash pots with a brillo pad and not one chip. This time gel didn't even last two weeks. Going some where else tomorrow. Lousey job, I won't go back to Elegant.
I needed a pedicure and this salon's close to my house. I went in with few expectations & was blown away. The salon is bright & open, with separate areas for pedicures and nails. I was most impressed by the cleanliness. All of the techs wear gloves while working on your feet, a new disposable tub liner is used for each customer, and all of the pedicure tools used are either brand new out of the package or have been through an autoclave. The pedicure itself was great! I paid $42 (tax included) for the bottom tier "Deluxe Pedicure" and am thoroughly satisfied. I can't give a 5star review, simply because I have not experienced more of their services, but I would definitely recommend this salon to my friends and family.
I wanted to try a new salon since this place was new and close to my house I decided to try it out. That was not a idea. The worst place I have ever gotten my eyebrows done at!! The lady waxed off most of my eyebrows. I have thin ugly shaped eyebrows now i don't even want to look in the mirror makes me feel so sad and angry i will never go back. Not recommended at all!! By far the worst place ever!!!
My mom and I love this nail salon! Fast, friendly service, up to date clean equipment, awesome menu when you sit for a pedi that has great selection w/ prices.. Would of been a relaxing experience if it weren't for the crazy girl who came in after us screaming and demanding a redo on her pedi, her feet looked fine to me - no need to be so rude and condescending to the workers- especially with your grandmother sitting right there!! No respect these days! She'll probably write a bad review (and go nuts when she sees this one too :D), IGNORE IT!!! Best pedi I've gotten in Albuquerque! My mom* and I will definitely be back!!
I went in today and no one appeared to be manning the desk. The beautician was telling a woman who wanted an appointment that she was too busy and could not take her. No one appeared to be watching for customers. After the beautician made it very clear to the customer she was not going to help her, I asked if someone was available to do nails; I did not dare ask her for an appointment to cut my hair. She responded very angrily that they were very very busy. This place had never stated you had to have an appointment before and there was no sign on the outside saying that either. She just said they were too busy and was not going to help me. I had been going there for several months and they just added the beautician as a new service. I will never go back there again; their service was terrible. They evidently have all the customers they need and do not need any more because they just ignore potential customers because they are too busy to serve them. I have never been treated so badly before. First, I was ignored and when I asked for help, I was just told they were too busy to schedule an appointment. They should just lock the doors when they have too many customers.
Went in for a gel manicure. My nails were shaped very unevenly. I had to request them to be evened up more than once. While trimming the dry skin around my cuticle, I was cut slightly twice. It appeared that the gentleman who was doing the manicure hadn't had much experience. I finally quit asking for my nails to be filed evenly because they were filed down too short already at this point. Disappointing experience. First and last time for me to use this business.
Omg I read bad reviews about this Vivis nails by my house and I thought I'd give them a chance (as I give all nail places a chance)... NO they were rude they didn't turn the bubbler thing on for my pedi and the water was cold and ignored me and after 15 minutes of waiting when she was ready I asked for a towel and told them I was going somewhere else!!
I had a basic manicure today. Nothing fancy. The towel under my hands was dirty. The file she used had been used before. The nail tech next to me took out Plackers and proceeded to clean her teeth for about 5 minutes in front me and the other customers! I was charged $17.00 and when I questioned when the price went up, my nail tech couldn't understand me or explain. I will never go back. Customer beware.
My daughter and I walked in and asked for acrylic nails and 1 color ($25) right away he sat my daughter down and the nail employee got straight to work(very polite). After finishing we went up to the front and the the man charged us $42 and said we got gel. We had never asked for gel nails and he started loosing his temper because we had told him what my daughter wanted in the beginning instead of the lady doing the pedicure. This shows a great lack of communication in the salon. My whole experience was great up until I had to speak to the greedy uneducated man.
