I will never use stanton again even if they paid me to get the glasses. Unprofessional, untrained, bait-and-switch advertising, horrendous experience. What's even scarier is that the store on Louisiana is ten times worse. Long waits even when you have an appointment, incompetent staff and oh, don't even get me started on the call center that calls you incessantly even after you've already picked up your orders. Never again.
Awful service, they are very unorganized!! you are told over the phone one thing and after you get your eye exam try and up sell you buy hundreds and then charge you for the eye exam $48.15! DO NOT COME HERE, IT IS NOT WORTH THE STRESS
I have been a patient of Dr. Sokola for 3 years and she has always been very informative, professional and the sweetest Optometrist I have ever gone to. The atmosphere of the office is so relaxing with all the plants, one of the best things of visiting Ultra-Vision is Mellow the cat. He is so sweet and welcomes the patients personally. I love this place so much when I found out they were interviewing for a receptionist I applied for the job and now I work for Dr. Sokola and Diane. It is the best job I have ever had. DISAPPOINTED w/Dr Tachau & his Abq office! NOT DEAF FRIENDLY! We asked for an interpreter when we made my sons appt & received some hesitation. I informed the office that it is his right to have an interpreter. Often people do not realize this the law. I am happy to help with education, phone #'s, etc. When I rec'd a confirmation txt a few weeks before the appt I asked about the interpreter & was told the doctor was not comfortable with having an interpreter in the room. We talked to the Dr himself & he told us my son didn't need one for various reasons. He has never met my son! How would he know if he needed an interpreter? When we wouldn't give up on getting one he finally agreed & hung up on us. I called his Abq office a week later to cancel the appt, having decided he was not the type of person my son needed, & we had already been taken out of the sched. I was told my son was not a patient there. It seems they made the decision for us. It feels a whole lot like discrimination! 0����
went for an eye exam as well as new glasses,was originally interested in the special 2 for 69 frames, the selection was limited not much to pick from.i looked and found 2 that were slightly higher in price...i was waited on by WILL. he did a fantastic job on getting me my glasses and staying with in my price range.. cant thank him enough.i will recommend this store to others .. sharon n.
Customer service lacks BIG TIME! Go in for an eye exam early. Oh well isn't that inconvenient for the staff. Then staff didn't know if I was there for a regular exam or contact exam (which they ask you when they are setting the appointment) Machines are down but that again apparently is my fault. When I go to leave I am charged even though I have very good eye insurance. The staff was snotty, unprofessional, and rude. When I asked for the store manager I was told by the manager she is very sorry and she will discuss what happened. I am sorry She was as rude as her staff. When you are sitting with a customer and your friend walks in you do not leave the customer so a snot can finish taking care of me. I did not purchase anything because of the staff. They barely let me out the door with my prescription (which I had to pay for and fight for) Shame on this place. It used to be excellent and now I wouldn't suggest anyone going there.
Frames were great, unfortunatly the customer service end of the operation ripped us off. I was told that I was purchasing the least expensive lenses when in reality I was billed for the most expensive. If you are crazy enough to purchase your eyewear here I would advise that you have your sales rep explain, explain, and explain again all charges to you. If you get a bad feeling about anything that you are being told, RUN LIKE HELL. I reluctantly rate my experience as a one star as I can't find the negative star rating.
