About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

OMG! The Chocolate Aroma.....made my knees soften! I was in a trance. I bought many gifts. They were all packaged so beautiful. The sales women was outstanding. Offered me a sample treat while I shopped. There were so many selections in all price ranges. They offer sugar free also. At check out I showed her a discount coupon I had clipped from a magazine mailer. She gladly took the coupon & offered a suggestion to where I was able to purchase another small box of chocolates & use the next level coupon & actually receive the small box for free. They have been in business over 20 years! Love this Shop!

Bought $35 worth of "cake mix" from here. Was awful... Cement like, salty, not sweet, and it broke my Kitchen Aid. Brought this to their attention on Facebook and then they said it was my fault. Never going here again. So disappointed. What horrible customer service. For $35 I expected something that would at least work/taste like cake, and instead I got bad service and a disgusting, gelatinous, dinner roll flavored goopy mess.

The Candy Lady

I am torn about the one star I give, as I believe it is not quite fair, but I cannot bring myself to give any more than that. True, The Candy Lady does have good chocolates when they are fresh, but I do not know if I've had them when they are fresh! The taste is always very good, but the texture is usually more chalky than creamy. I am also a little put off by the Breaking Bad theme she has adopted which is fine, but overdone already.I have not been there in a year because I realized just how long she is willing to let her candies sit around before she sells them. I was there as one of her first customers in her new location when she was unwrapping the chocolates that she made in her old store which closed down about three months prior. -And she was selling them full price. What could I say? I didn't buy anything and I just never went back.I also heard that the kitchen she left behind in the old location was filthy. It is too bad, because I always thought her recipes were fabulous in their simplicity. She does not focus on the sacrilege of mixing chili with chocolates. And yes, she probably is the best chocolate shop in N.M., which makes more of a point about N.M., than about her!
