Terrible customer service. Scheduled an appointment for a battery replacement, drove three hours to Albuquerque for the service, and after waiting almost an hour past my appointment time; I was told they didn't have any more technician time available that evening but could fill out the paperwork so I could bring the phone back in a few days...I LIVE 3 HOURS AWAY!!! Employees were rude and couldn't understand why I wouldn't just come back another day. Called Apple Customer Support and they were no more helpful...they could schedule me another appointment, either with this store or another one, but the fact that this is the closest one to where I live didn't seem to be something they comprehended. Offered to have me send the phone in for service, but I would be without it for at least a week. Overall, very unhappy with this store and Apple support in general. While I enjoy the iPhone OS and how the apps work on it, I guess the phone will get traded in on an Android model. A good OS and smooth apps don't mean anything when your customer service is TRASH.
"Reconditioned" battery lasted 2 days before it died. They replaced it with another, which last 3 days. Not looking forward to dealing with these people again.
The store was crowded but the guy at the Genius Bar took care of us like we were the only people in the store. Top notch service and quick replacement of my phone, free under warranty. Just make sure to make a reservation ONLINE first.
Called 3 times today during opening hours and I've been on hold a total of 90+ minutes. Does a live person answer the phones ever. Very disappointed
ASSETS: Broad selection, with honest sales people who call on others if they don't know how to help you.LIABILITIES: Unless you act like a PESTERING BULL-HEADED MULE, you won't get any service very fast, I am naturally that way. Also you should also have a good idea of what you want and still be willing to spend at LEAST 1 HOUR shopping around, so that you can find the right deal.
My father bought a battery for his vehicle, thinking it was a good deal ($40.00) he recommended Recon Battery Warehouse. A year later his battery gave him problems, resulting in him having to replace. They (ReCON) charged him $15 as a prorated fee. A year after he exchanged his battery, I gave Recon Battery Wholesale the 'benefit of doubt' and decided to buy 2 cheap batteries for my 2 cars. After 1 week and driving the vehicle to Illinois, my new battery died. I have had to jump the battery multiple times. I've had the rest of the vehicle checked out. The diagnosis is the "battery". I called Recon Battery Warehouse about the defective battery they sold me. They told me they couldn't help me. They are well aware of the "con" game they are playing. I am now going to do what I should have done in the first place, buy a battery from Wal-Mart! Lesson Learned: Never buy a battery from a business that has the word "Con" in the name...You will get "Conned".
Lousy, non-existent service. Wanted to buy an I Pod. Asked a girl in the Samsung section who was busy stuffing her face with some type of food. She mumbled "Apple something" and nodded in the general direction. Went over there. Two guys trying to work with a whole lot of customers. Waited, waited and waited. Finally left, went home and ordered it online. Great experience, won't bother again.
I went for a battery replacement for my watch,the guy said give me five minutes then he came back with my watch all scratch and he said you have to take it to a jeweler.so avoid this place
I had a iPhone with a broken + volume button. It was replaced under warranty. The data I had on the phone was going to take an HOUR to put on cloud and transfer to the new phone! !! WTF, lousy bandwidth at the store. Then the tech told me I had to PURCHASE more screen protectors if I wanted the new phone to be like the original.I figured that would have been a nice step considering I was on my lunch (90 min). So they took my old phone with the protector film on it.now I had to buy another packet.I find the shop filled with quite a few arrogant and distant techs. Genius bar???In this day I have early seen such self-promotion .I have since gone to a Samsung system.
Do not work for these people! (on Jefferson St ALB) They will fire you for no apparent reason and make up a lie about you. It is true, because it happened to my spouse.. and another worker's badge didn't work ..and they told her she was fired.. they waited till she showed up .. no phone call or nothing! They will work you like a dog! I do think why my spouse got fired it because he didn't want to work on a saturday. If they had it there way they would want everyone to work monday thru sunday with NO DAYS OFF!! This company is a piece of CRAP
