Ben Lucero and every one of his staff members who were involved in refinancing my VA loan were the most honest, competent, understanding and patient professionals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Mr. Lucero was always willing to make time to explain the questions that I had and guide me through the steps involved that the average client would find perplexing. After the aggravating, tiresome and troubling experience with American Finance, who kept me in a holding pattern and in uncertainty for over 5 mo without an explanation, it was relief to be in the sure and competent hands of Mr. Lucero and his accomplished staff. I wouldn't hesitate to refer any fellow veterans and anyone for that matter in seeking a mortgage or refinance with Indigo Mortgage.By a grateful and satisfied client, TL Aguirre,
I had my mortgage with them for 11 months, and they incorrectly posted the payments 10 times, plus getting the interest amount wrong, and they hung up on me when I complained about it.I got away from this bank as soon as I could afford to do it.
Ben Lucero is the most honest, sincere, professional, personable, capable, compassionate, and decent person I have ever dealt with in any business transactions, and I ran my own for 35 years. Mr. Lucero and his staff got my mortgage up and running battling all problems as they emerged---to an excellent result. I can recommend Ben Lucero's INDIGO MORTGAGE without reservation. Also, as an ex-private investigator, I did my Due Diligence and found Nothing detrimental in this business's background. Thank you, Ben Lucero and your very fine, effective INDIGO MORTGAGE COMPANY.
Nice, knowledgeable helpful thank you very much for your excellent staff
They are always short staff and there is always a line.... very disappointing
Impossible to reach them by phone. The branch on Constitution in Albuquerque just does not answer.
how dare call yourself a professional bank because I lost all of my money due to ATM withdrawals and who in the hell has the guts to steal from a kid who just started their bank account. I don't have a lot of money, it took SEVEN years to save that much. They STOLE iT ALL!! You don't deserve any stars.
I have had 2 different rude tellers. The second time I changed bank. I wrote an check to my son using online banking. When my paycheck was deposited to the wrong bank I called them and asked if this was a problem. I was told as long as my son didn't cash the check it would be fine. He didn't cash the check and they took the money out of my account anyway. When I asked them about it, they said it was a direct deposit (wrong--they didn't have any account number for my son) then they said it was a cashier's check (wrong--cashier checks have to have cashier's check written on the front) So they can take my money plus charge an overdraft. pretty sweet deal for them. I would stay away from this bank and their shady practices
Jason was recommended by our real estate agent. We were primarily interested in going with Jason because of the floating interest rate. It seemed like a good decision since interest rates were in flux. My wife and I had several interactions with Jason and my wife contacted him on the day we were planning to put an offer in on a house. She simply called to ask what our options were for interest rates in relation to points and to ask what PMI was for both monthly payments and if we paid it upfront. Jason didn't answer her question and told her what he thought we should do. The conversation ended with Jason hanging up on my wife and then sending this email to us. (The email is in full and hasn't been edited.)I am sorry, but I work with nice people. I try very hard to share my expertise and make the experience the best possible. We started on the wrong foot and since we are just starting, the mortgage process is very frustrating and stressful. I cannot see our relationship getting better and I feel it is best for you to find a lender who could better serve you. I am sorry and good luck.Jason PikeSenior Loan OfficerOffice: 505.828.9400Fax: firstname.lastname@example.org://www.FasterMove.com/NMLS: 471725Managing businesses and departments, dealing with a spectrum of personalities, I'm shocked by his unprofessionalism. Yes, the mortgage process can be frustrating and stressful but it is only made so by an a loan officer that will not answer your questions even if they are simple and straight forward and then dump you on the day you are going to put an offer on a house. It appears he was much more frustrated and stressed about the process than we were and it is his job! As a manager I can say even if you get frustrated with a client, guest, customer sometimes you just have to suck it up for the greater good, not hang up on a client and then send them an email saying that he will not work with us because he only works with nice people! After all his decisions effect others. Needless to say we didn't put an offer on the house. This is roughly a $10,000 commission for our real estate agent that he may have just thrown away. As an agent do you want to recommend a loan officer that may do this to buyer on the day they are planning to put an offer in? Do you want to recommend someone that doesn't have the sense to not send an email like this out, saying he won't work with us and he only works with nice people?More surprising we didn't share his same feelings, that was until he hung up on my wife and then sent the email out. We didn't feel like we got off on a wrong foot. Maybe he thought so because in the beginning he kept trying to get us into a bigger loan, more expensive house and we wouldn't. It made us question that he had our best interests in mind since a bigger loan would obviously mean more money for him. I guess that is why we were more concerned with what our options were than only what he thought we should do. Even at that we obviously didn't feel that our relationship couldn't get better because we contacted him several times with questions, again that was until he hung up on my wife and then sent the email out. If he was truly trying to make the experience the best possible as noted in his email, he failed miserably!
clint is very hard working. he is everything you need as a mortgage specialist. the best part is he very honest letting you know if he can help and what you need to do to get your loan at the best rates.
