I love Jayna! She does amazing things with color. I was nervous about trusting a new salon with my waist length hair but she did not disappoint. It is a tad expensive but when I follow her advice my color stays in for months at a time!
No one returns your calls; and when they do they tell you someone is going to be there and they are not. Very hard to get appointment or gift certificate.
***Update***I went to 4 U Nail Place to give them the opprtunity to save a customer. I sat with Jerry and explained the situation. He then proceeded to file all my nails down and then after I told him that I had gotten gel last time, attempted to put regular polish on my nails, I corrected him, and asked that if I changed the color (mind you I had gotten a gel french) to a plain one, he advised me that it would cost me $5 in order to do so which is mind boggling as it was less work than my original visit there. At this point in time, I will never return here. The total of my nails has cost me $96. It is beyond me, that a company has no issue charging people more for a mistake that was theirs to begin with, especially since I requested less work than I had originally paid for. My nails still have part of the french I got on my initial visit that is visible. They lack pride in their work and lack any sort of customer service skills whatsoever. Proceed with your own caution.
Horrible experience!! They want your money but they do not want to give you quality service. Earlier today I got a full set done by Henry (The only person really doing nails). Now this evening the entire acrylic from my pinky nail came off. I was calm and called Henry in a respectful manner requesting that he can fix it tonight or tomorrow, if fitting for him. He tells me sure tomorrow but it will cost 10 additional dollars (we all know even to fix one broken nail is not 10 dollars for reg nails). I quickly objected to that because that means he gave me a bad nails job and I have to pay for him to fix his own error. My nail wasn't cracked; it came off clean while washing dishes on the very first day.Anyone that does nail or gets them done knows that is the result of poor installation.Henry later adjusted his price to 3 dollars. I declined that as well because I refuse to pay for a crappy job. I asked to speak with the owner Amy but she is never around. Now i am just going to have to wait and see what happens. One thing I do know is they have lost a customer. This is not an angry review rather an honest sharing of my experience. I will not be surprised if they close down soon. All Henry cares about is getting your money in his pocket. If I could give 0 stars I would. I am looking forward to hearing from the owner Amy. If she does call back I will update this review. If I do not update this post that means I never received a call back.
Terrible eyebrows. Stop hiring just anybody and stick to one who actually knows wtf they are doing....!
Go there with lot of $$$$ in ur pocket. I've been here twice and needed a second visit each time. First time my keratin treatment was not applied correctly so I had to go back and get redone. Thought I would give them another try. Second time, came in with a picture a highlights that I wanted. When I left I couldn't even tell I had highlights unless under the light. So I called and asked if the stylist could fix my hair (maybe adding a few more lighter highlights) after I just spent $160 (plus another $60 on hair products) here. Sure come in..... after 5 more foils and a glaze, I get to the counter for a suprising charge of another $60. Are u kidding me! An uphappy customer and you're going to charge them again. 1 unhappy customer tells a lot of people. Needless to say I will not be back to this salon!
I never really write review cause I don't really care that much nut I had to tell the world about this place. This was my first time going there and the woman that did my nails did an amazing job. I didn't catch her name but she wasn't the owner she sits in about the 4th chair. Way better then Melissa's. My nails all came out exactly as I asked and they were extremley even. She really took her time and made sure they were perfect. First time I didn't have to ask the person doing my nails to go back and fix them for being mis shapened. The only reason u gave it 4 was because I waited over an hour. It was a Friday after 5 though so most nails places are busy but that place was packed. Probably due to how good they are. Will definitely be coming back. But on a slower day like Monday.
awesome salon! very clean, doesn't reek of toxic chemicals, & great customer service. their prices are comparable to all nail salons and they offer a large array of services. I'm happy to have found a nail salon to continue going to for years (:
*BEWARE!!!* - ABSOLUTEY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!We were a wedding party from Hartford CT (wedding in Albany), found this place online. We all showed up early for our 9AM appointment. Well NO ONE showed up until almost 10!!! We actually looked up the owners house and went there which was vacant, for sale. When the owner (Katy) and her partner finally arrived, smelling horrible like cigarettes and alcohol, they never said sorry and were very rude right off the bat. At this point we all knew it wasn't going to be a good experience. Now about their work.... STAY AWAY!! When they finally started (over an hour late) it's like they forgot all the supplies and tools at home that they needed. It was a mess! After makeup and hair, members of our party ACTUALLY WENT BACK TO THE HOTEL TO REDUE IT THEMSELVES. That's how bad this place is. None of the girls were happy. One of the girls had 32 pins in her hair that kept falling out all night and her hair was LITERALLY tied in a knot to hold it up. Its like they knew they were late, so started taking short cuts. Now on to the bride...It took every last bit of energy for us no to scream and yell at the 2 hung-over workers. The bride was outside crying getting fresh air because of how horrible this place was. Again, no apologies or remorse what so ever. We were running so late because of Hairs to You, we just booked out of there around 2 and were so late for pictures, that the bride and groom MISSED half of the reception. Hairs to you and the owner should be avoided at all costs! This is not a good place and honestly we have no idea why there are other positive reviews about this place online. They must be made up by the owners family and friends. They destroyed our hair, butchered our makeup, and wasted THOUSANDS of our dollars throughout the day. Ruined the first half of the wedding by being so late and not prepared! Still to this day no apologies, return calls or reimbursement at all! BEWARE!!!
It was my first time going and I barely had removed my acrylics so I got by real nail tech and I love that she was gentle with my nails and turn it out fabulous! Everyone here are friendly and chat with me entire the process! So relaxing!
