Every year there is a problem with bus service. You have the entire summer to get the bus stop pick ups and drop off completed so the parents aren't calling every week once school starts . My child needs to be dropped off at his afterschool program and there's always a problem. You guys have to do better Sincerely ,Frustrated Brighter Choice parent ( WW)
this bus company is terrible and i tell everyone. It is sad that my son is on a special ed bus and has to hear the bus driver cursing in front of the kids. Every year it is a problem. I wish i could take him to school myself but i have to work. Today i had it with them my son was waiting a hour and fifteen minutes the bus is supposed to come at 6:25 am and no one showed. I called the bus garage which is always busy 20 minutes later i get a hold of someone and they tell me they have no driver for his route. How is that possible? They dont even inform you we are supposed to guess and call everyday for them to track down a random bus to bring him to school. How pathetic and unprofessional so a bus came which was not a special education bus it was a regular bus which picked up a different child totally different school and my son was picked up by that driver too. Terrible and worst service i have ever dealt with my child is going to be switching to south colonie schools in a few weeks i am happy after dealing with durham for three years!!!!
I just wish that I knew about this site last school year. In fact lets start with the school year of 2014-2015 this bus company let my son off the bus in 2nd grade by his self, thank god one of his fellow school mate took him home and the go in touch with me. Now for the 2015-2016 school year this bus was late each and everyday of the school. and not just a little late no less than 20-60 everyday. They are by far the worst school bus company I would call corporate but I can't find the number.
I hope to never send my child with this bussing system. I was in a near collision with Bus number 263 (23514 across the back door), just before the 4B Exit of I 787 South to downtown Albany NY this morning. The driver crossed two lanes of traffic at high speed in moderate traffic, nearly clipping my front end. I slammed on the brakes to miss rear-ending it. It did NOT take the 4B exit, begging the questions: How late are you? And what the heck kind of driving record do you have? Contacting the company does nothing, they don't pick up. Hope someone sees the ID info and follows through.
This is by far the worst most incompetent bus company I've ever had to experience dealing with they range from between 15 to 50 minutes late every day in the afternoon and come in the morning whenever they please it's really ridiculous I wish there was another bus company for my child to ride with I'm very unhappy and had issues with then every year with no improvement I wish I could give them no Stars
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I wish I could give them *half* a star. There are issues every single year, throughout the year. My son's bus was involved in a hit-and-run last year; no phone call to the parents to let them know they'd be very late getting home, nothing. Today, my son missed his bus home and wasn't even checked off as not being on the bus. Ridiculous.
Changes in pick up time especially earlier pick up time be it 5-7-8-9minutes parents should be notified in advance you may feel like its not an issue but changes ttoa persons schedule on the day would be an easy way for people rally and complain you provide crappy service and its ridiculous
