I went there for my Thanksgiving dinner last year and the service was great, the staff cheerful and very comfy cozy!!!
4. Pig Pit BBQ
Margo, I'm going to have to disagree with you...\r \r I have driven by this place multiple times and never stopped by to try it....I had heard from …
Ate there Sunday afternoon.. very good steak, salad and hamburger. Waiter was knowledgeable and friendly ( Joe ) . Asked if we wanted separate checks.. they even put 1/3 of the donuts on each bill. Prices will good and will go again.
Whence this culinary preschool was in dev, I was under a false, literal impression, of the name. To allow one to seat themself under torrents of chicken in a tube was much mo' wanted..
Decent food, good prices. Not the best, but not the worst BBQ I have ever had. For the price, you pay for what you get. Atmosphere is a little bit busy, for noisy families with kids and sports bar fanatics you will fit right in. Not somewhere you want to go if you are looking for a peaceful meal with your honey. More of an after work watch the game type of place with a hint of BBQ smoked and chain restaurant food. Fair.
This place used be to decent a couple years ago, now thier portions aren't as big and they are not taking the time to do real authentic smokehouse meat. Ribs were chewy, brisket was dry, coleslaw was missing seasoning and enough mayo. To make matters worse the chefs cut the chicken before smoking it and partly hack off the meatier parts leaving you with a chicken quarter with not much on it. Considering a chicken quarter doesn't even cost you a buck, why would you shaft your patrons by doing that? Is your food not expensive enough? All you do is brine it, dry rub it and throw it in a smoker...anyone can do that! Kind of silly guys...
