Taco Deluxe

Mom and I went there for an early dinner last Friday. On the door is the sticker for "Food for Thought" top performer, for September 2014.

After entering the restaurant, we understood why. The place was immaculate! Sparkly clean!

The restaurant has mirrors on the west side wall, and on the east are glass blocks. The ceiling is even neat to look at! There are many tables with chairs, and they have hand sanitizer on each table! There are two big screen TVs, one side on an English station, the other end a Spanish station.

The menu is mostly Spanish, but has photos and prices of each plate. With a plate order, on Fridays, one gets a free drink. I ordered off the menu, my usual chicken taco with sides of frijoles and rice. Mom had huevos rancheros, which came with three corn tortillas. They brought us two big glasses of horchata for free!

My taco was the biggest one I've ever gotten! The chicken was perfect, stuffed with lettuce and tomato. My frijoles were lukewarm, and the rice was ok. We both cleaned our plates, and mom took home her torts.

I look forward to going back again… And have another taco or two!
