We would like to remind other employers and people who have the responsibility of hiring new employees to do thorough background checks and conduct previous employer interviews without hesitation.
I was recently employeed here, i am still waiting on my final paycheck, within the last 2 months 2 other girls waited 5 weeks to get paid, and last year a few people quit because they did not get paid, do not support someone who does not pay their employees, very childish owner, will not answer phone calls or text messages, did not even tell me i was fired, he just locked the door, and i had to call him...
I was employed with these folks from autumn to mid winter and was shorted and even not paid all checks but one. Dave and his family are either crooked or bad with money, but they held our pay so long one time i couldnt pay rent and was evicted. Im not from ohio and was just there for winter visiting friends. These people made ohio the single worst experience of my nomadic journeys. I worked hard and brought lots of knowledge to the shop and in the end had barely enough to get back to florida after realizing i needed to get out of there before i wasted more time. Many times i complained that they had givin me a task that was not possible with the materials provided, and they asked me to do it anyway, forcing me to output product that was NOT acceptable, proven by the return rates of said orders. They still owe me money and will not answer my calls, or tell me if they will send me my tax info. They wont even take down my address. I left very respectfully and am ashamed to say i was a part of their business.
I worked for them and have yet to be paid. David the owners son and manager has lied and lied. I worked for a month and he paid me only $500.
