Overall

BUYERS BEWARE !!!! It The worst and slowest repair shop around.. It takes you 3 weeks to get in then if the part is needed for the repair it takes 3-4 weeks for them to get the part in, and the you have to reschedule to get the repair done.. which is another 3 weeks,, I won't be back for any repairs , the love to sell and then play the waiting game with you on the repairs,, (REPAIRS ARE NOT A PRIORITY TO THEM) Oh for the ones that just love the repair shop.. just give your New unit a year or two and you will be disgusted with them… and they are way over price in there store too.. shop around and you will see. THEY ARE A BIG SCAM AND THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH IT… YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF BUYING FOR THE KAYNE AUTO GROUP. Also the sale man John Price is nothing more than a big lier ,, I don't know how that man sleeps at night!

Overall
Unacceptable service.

Purchased a new travel trailer here in May. When doing the walk through, a number of problems were identified from a cracked entry door to a chipped table and a chipped sink. I was assured these would be replaced under the warranty. Here it is three months later and nothing has been completed and no phone calls are returned. They have my camper still and my money. I have a tittle and nothing else. I would never recommend Sirpillas Camping World.

My brother had purchased a fif...

My brother had purchased a fifth wheel from Sirpilla. Knowing it was the biggest dealership in Ohio, I went there when it came time to get mine. First impressions were good. We met up with a salesman who took me around looking for exactly what I wanted, crunched some numbers and then I decided to go do more extensive looking. I found a camper I wanted, proceeded to crunch numbers with the salesman. We were going over the printout when another salesman came up and said someone had put down $7K on the camper I wanted. So it was taken out from under me. I was forced to take my second choice and the salesman even had a deal made up for an alternative new camper, but I decided I wanted the second best used one; more bang for the buck. So anyway, when all was said and done I had $21K in the deal. I had made plans to use the camper on July 4th week/weekend, so I had the camper on a camping lot three days after taking delivery. After setting up the camper, I found two things wrong: 1) The toilet water valve had a hairline crack and it leaked water, which meant I couldn't use water in the camper until it was replaced--$41 out of pocket, 2) The water heater control module was missing from the camper--$138 out of pocket. The fact that neither of these were checked before I left with the camper proves to me that they didn't do a thorough check. Now according to the salesman those things weren't part of the check I paid for. Maybe so, but those are two major components that should be a priority to check and fix before selling a camper. The water heater control module was ripped out, most likely by a tech at the dealership to fix another camper's water heater. There is no other explanation as to why it was missing. The panel it was supposed to be behind was still unscrewed and laying in the cabinet. Sirpilla dropped the ball on both of these problems and I am not happy having to spend $179 out of pocket on a full coverage $21K camper. I could've waited and taken it to a dealer, but then it would've ruined my July 4th week/weekend camping trip. So here are my observations: 1) The dealership is all about sales, like any dealership. The sales staff is helpful and I'm happy with that experience... 2) They seem so intent on getting you out the door that they don't check items they should. I saw brand new campers with broken parts that hadn't been fixed. They need more emphasis on selling campers with working components, rather than sales first.... 3) DO YOUR RESEARCH and check your camper thoroughly before buying it. Make a list of items that need fixed and insist on it before taking delivery. Look for items like cracked toilet valves, missing parts. Educate yourself on the components and how they work. Don't leave that dealership without being satisfied the camper is sound. In all, my experience with Sirpilla was a mixed bag. I had called service to get info on the water heater because I had no idea what the unplugged harness went to. They called me back Monday, days after I had fixed the unit myself doing my own research. I give them three stars, they need to learn from their mistakes and they need to put service first, especially with the product.

I purchased a used motor home ...

I purchased a used motor home in Oct 2011. I didn"t want an argument over anything. There were a couple of problems wth the tv's radio, backup camera and hot water heater. I was told everything would be fixed. Needless to say its in the shop since before Christmas and their refusing to fix the backup camera. They now say they did not agree and they'll turn it over to my insurance with a deductable. Its funny after you buy, they can't remember you. Sorry I'm not going away. To bad they don't read their own reviews.
