Born and raised here in the Akron area all of our lives, Duane and I grew up in a small house on the outskirts of Akron. We always knew we wanted more out of life than our small town could provide, but it was a great place to grow up and just be kids. I worked a variety of jobs around town, including selling candy door to door, but really focused on all high school had to offer. Duane worked a paper route and worked at the family owned pizzeria and ice cream stand. After high school, we each found our niche in the business world and began our separate journeys into adulthood, never forgetting our small town values. I started my career in automotive sales at the age of eighteen to support my young family and have been in the car business my whole adult life. I have four beautiful children ( Ashley, Cody, Nick and Brennan ) and a wonderful wife Robin. Duane attended the University of Akron, eventually graduating with a degree in accounting, and opened his own small business. Duane and his wife Kristalyn have two children, Will and Larissa.

Bought a 2014 Juke Nissan from Fred Martin on Arlington.. Love the car...But from time to time my foot slip's off the brake pedal from time to time...Any body else having this problem??

Worst Experience Ever, Don't buy from them

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY LIE TO CUSTOMERS AND THROW THEM OFF THEIR LOT WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT THEIR DECEPTIVE PRACTICES. THEY QUOTE PRICES ON VEHICLES AND THEN WHEN YOU ARE GETTING READY TO SIGN THE DOCUMENTS, THEY CHANGE THE VEHICLE PRICE. WE WERE QUOTED A PRICE BY THE SALESMAN, JEREMY WALDEN, WHO TOLD US THAT THE PRICE WOULD BE EVEN LOWER IF WE COULD WAIT TO BUY THE CAR OVER PRESIDENTS DAY WEEKEND, BUT WHEN WE SHOWED UP ON THAT WEEKEND, NOT ONLY WAS ANY ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OFF THE PRICE NOT THERE, AS HE SAID, THE PRICE HE QUOTED US ON THE PHONE A FEW DAYS BEFORE WAS LIKE $500-$700 MORE THAN HE QUOTED. HE THEN SAID ""I MADE A MISTAKE"" WHEN THE NEW CAR PRICE WAS PUT IN FRONT OF US. HIS SALES MANAGER BACKED HIM UP ON HIS MISTAKE, AND INSTEAD OF HONORING THEIR ERROR, THE SALES MANAGER BECAME ENRAGED WHEN WE WERE WALKING OUT ON THE DEAL AND THREW US OUT OF HIS DEALERSHIP WHEN SOME CSUTOMERS IN THE SHOWROOM HEARD WHAT WAS GOING ON AND STARTED TALKING TO US ON THE WAY OUT. WE WERE HAPPY TO SEE THAT AT LEAST ONE COUPLE WHO WAS STANDING CLOSE TO THE OPEN CUBICLE WHERE WE HAD THE HEATED EXCHANGE, ALSO WALKED OUT OF THE DEALERSHIP....ANOTHER COUPLE THAT WAS OUTSIDE ON THE LOT HEARD THE IRATE SALES MANAGER THROWING AN ADULT COUPLE WHO WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH THE INTENT OF PURCHASING A NEW VEHICLE OFF THE LOT AND I COULD SEE IN THEIR ACTIONS THAT THEY HAD DOUBTS ABOUT USING THAT DEALERSHIP. THIS SALES MANAGER, LAST NAME TURNER I BELIEVE, IS CLEARLY A HIGH PRESSURE, PUSHY TYPE THAT WAS UPSET THAT WE DISCOVERED THEIR LYING, PROBABLY WAS A MORTGAGE BROKER BEFORE THAT INDUSTRY MELTED DOWN, NEEDS TO BE MAKING LICENSE PLATES, NOT SELLING CARS THAT HOLD THEM.
