Patient with injured arm/shoulder. The doc tried to do a range of motion test while they were seated in chair. Then pushed patients arm back and caused pain. Then looked at them as if they were aggravated. Put in a worthless sling. Patient is experiencing a lot of pain. Hope the other office is better.

Why cant they call you when you have appointments or send your orders out what you have to get done before your surgery Jeff made appointments for me n never call then want on vacation n say he tried to call for weeks but i call him to make sure he had the right number to call but he wrote it done wrong not my fault when i call couple days to make sure everyone had the phone number right n my surgery is in june and you guys are give me a go around n not be honest n helpful n i work cant have surprise appointments n when i ask you guys to give me call weeks a head time to get work off or get off early thanks alot for nothing very disappointed patient worst services never
I am floored by the other review from 2015. Do you want bedside manner and bad hands? Seems like someone was a bit high maintenence and couldn't get the undivided attention she thought she should have. Give me a brilliant surgeon who doesn't know how to converse with his patients. Actually my experience was good. I had good nurses and operating assistants as well as a geat surgeon, Dr Manley. Give me efficiency and cookie cutter surgery. It means there are few complications and they know what they're doing.
This facility is very robot like operated. The surgeons have no bed side manners, however they are good. The staff is very rude and treat the patients like crap. When you return the favor and treat them the way they are treating you they go and cry to the doctor like a child and lie. I recommend this place if you need surgery however if you can not deal with rude people don't go. They will also ask you your date of birth at least 7 times on your visit. They have no clue what they are doing in the front either. Overall mess big mess.
Had a spinal fusion done by Dr. Tharp. Went fine, hospital staff was wonderful. Went for 3 month follow up waited over 40 min in room, not a peep from anyone. I thought they may have forgotten me, therefore I stepped out of the room and asked the front desk if they had forgotten about me. I just got blank looks. Told them I needed to reschedule still nothing from them. As I was leaving an assistant said that I would be next she couldn't tell me how much longer I would have to wait. I was in pain and feeling ill at this point. (I had not taken any pain meds before that 8:45 am appointment) So I left an said I would call to reschedule my appointment, which I did when I got home and meds in my system. Latter that same day (around4:30 pm) the office called and canceled that follow up appointment stating that Dr. Tharp was not sure if he would want to have me as his patient any longer. What? How can a surgeon not follow up on his patients? My time is valuable also I do not do well with pain and discomfort. Would I go back to this doctor/office....not sure I would hope I would get some common respect for my time also. Just communicate with the patient let them know the doctor is running late.
