Horrible stay, no customer service, had to call the police. 4/8/17- 4/9/17 my husband and my family stayed at this hotel for a weekend gathering. 5 rooms were booked in advanced and each of us paid for our rooms and was given our room key. Well our keys stopped working for my husband and I at 4:00 am when we returned from an outing. So since we couldn't gain access to our room we took the issue to the front desk clerk, the clerk informed us our room number shows vacant and there is nothing he could possibly do for us. I explained many times we were checked in 4/8 a little before 5 pm and we have proof of purchase for that room, and as well our belongings are in the room along with any necessary identification. This rep continued to state he can not do anything to help us since he didn't check us in. So we asked how do we go about getting our things out since he isn't willing to let's us stay in that room. This rep told us he couldn't give us our things and we would basically have to wait for someone else to help us at check out time. At this point we're outraged and we called other members of our family staying at the hotel for help. After many attempts with this rep no solution to resolve the issue and it escalated. I asked the rep to show sometime type of empathy for us and the situation and to please allow us to stay there, advised him again we can show whatever proof he needed that we belong there. He would not help us he insisted that this matter was someone else's fault and he could not fix it at all and he would not give us our things. We called the police because we felt this hotel has taken our money and kicked us out a room we've paid for and is holding our personal possessions. Thankful for the Shreveport police we were able to help us get our things however we never got a room to sleep in we ended up sleeping on the floor of a family members room.

The most disgusting place I've ever had to lay my head. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, but once we got past the front desk we were hit with the smell of marijuana on every floor, we know because the elevator was broken. The hallways were filthy and the floors sticky. We got to our room and there were dead roaches behind the glass of the pictures hanging on the wall. There was only 4 channels on the TV.The air conditioning wasn't working so I asked my daughter to wet a rag with cold water and when she did the sink cracked like an egg!!! There was a huge hole in it. I asked for another to where there was a couple arguing during the night, the man threatened to shoot the hotel up and this went on all night long. I went to Waffle House and as soon as I opened the container the roaches came out looking for their plate. I will never, ever ever, stay another night in that place and wouldn't suggest anyone else to either. I don't care how cheap it is it's not worth it.
This place is very clean and safe. They have new carpet and everything in the room works. I would recommend this place.
Truck parking was not adequate for a tractor-trailer. Room was fairly clean but very dated,would not recommend this for a truck driver because of the parking.x
Nasty bed bugs rude ughhhh
Unless you want to sleep in filth and parasites.There is black mold growing around the windows, tubs, and showers. You cannot open any window. The walls are filthy painted paneling that are falling down. There is exposed and rigged electrical wiring. WE had to fix their air conditioning unit just to have cold air and I lost a $800 custom built pc because their rigged electricity kept going out.You have cables and water hoses stretching from the office to each room.(If I could upload pictures here I would show you the neglect.)They advertise the accept credit cards but that is a lie. They want cash and almost never can keep their books straight or reciepts. The owner is currently selling to escape all the health code violations that plague this motel.If you value your health and your safety...don't ever give business to the Palomar Motel...no matter who the slumlord owner is.
The floor was nasty trash behind tv, dust was thick on head board.. omg.. the tub was stained badly.. paint chips .. the lamp was broken with no. Light bulb. Smell like mildew.. i called the front and ask them to come and this room she did then we both pulled the cover back and the front dest clerk say No!!! Lets go ill have to get u another room this one got bed bugs too. I said Too? She stated that 3 other rooms. Have been reported this week.. so we goes back to the front and she put me on the 2nd floor where the room smelled like it was cleaned with a dirty bloody rag..the mirrow was smerred wth something all over it. Microwave had a plate of food in it., so nasty. I return the key to her askin for money bk she call the GM who is from china and Dont know to much of nothing he tells me we gonna make it better for you.NO JUST REFUND ME.... he goes to refund me a young lady with a small child come in cryin saying her baby got scabies from the room she was in the room all week and notice her baby started scratching she was very upset and screaming she say had to clean her own room cause it was nasty when she checkin in..trashy hotel need the HEALTH DEPT ATTENTION ASAP
