I recently rented a vehicle from this location. I called ahead and spoke to Zack, the asst. manager, and he stated they could pick me since my car was being serviced. About 30 minutes later, a rep named Robby called and told me he was outside ready when I was. Me and the rep talked about the car I was getting, sports, and our favorite teams. It was a pleasant ride back and when we got back, Robby helped me as I jump ahead of about 3 people. The transaction was painless and easy with me paying with a credit card. Unlike like some of the other reviews, Robby and myself examined the entire vehicle including the spare. This was great knowing if I needed to replace a flat, I knew it was there prior. Seeing that gave me ease and peace of mind. I returned the car 3 days later and needed a ride to the shop my car was being serviced at. Robby was off that day but a sweet elderly lady was willing to give me a ride back. I am very pleased with me overall experience and would definitely recommend renting from this location as they make the experience personal and easy.

I had an absolutely terrible experience renting with Enterprise in Aiken. I rented a car because I was in an accident where my car was totaled. I was first given a Fiat that was defective. The plastic circle that was underneath the gear changer became dislodged almost causing me to get into another accident. When I brought the Fiat back, I was told that they would just "pop it back in" or "cut it out"... When I explained that I did not feel safe, I was then told they would give me a Mini-Van because it was the only car they had left. A representative named Robbie (who claimed that he was the manager) told me that my daily rate would go up. When I expressed frustration, Zack, the manager stepped in and told Robbie to give me the daily rate. Robbie was noticeably frustrated that he had to do so. I was then escorted to the BACK parking lot, handed the keys to the van and drove away. I have rented many times from this location prior and know that this is not proper protocol. We did not inspect the vehicle, he did not check the mileage, or simply bring it to the front so I did not need to go through the back door. I had the mini van for almost a week when the maintenance light came on. It would beep and flash every time the car would turn on. I then became very upset as the entire reason I was renting a car was because I had been in an accident.I then called Enterprise Corporate Care and filed a formal complaint against Robbie. I was told to call Roadside Assistance the next day, and a car would be brought to me from another location. I did so, and was told a vehicle would be brought to my home from the Augusta Airport. However, 20 minutes later when Enterprise called me, I walked outside and to my extreme shock, saw Robbie standing in my driveway. I was extremely shaken by this as I had told Corporate that I did not want any interaction with the Aiken location EVER again. He brought a Jeep Compass, and handed me the keys. He did not check the odometer, and I had to initiate the walk around the vehicle. Zack, the actual manager, rectified this situation by calling and apologizing. However, I have yet to hear from the Regional Manager like I was told I would. Once Zack became involved, things changed and I was very satisfied with how he handled this situation. I was very very surprised to have such a poor experience with this location, because when I first moved to the area from NYC in January, I rented a car for three months and had a fantastic experience. The location was under the management of Kyle Hayes at that time, and it seems as if things have gone extremely downhill since he has transferred. If you have to rent a car from this location - I recommend only dealing with Zack as he was polite, kind and resolved the situation appropriately.
Twice in the past month, after 5pm on a Friday, I've had to have my car towed for service. (I obviously need a new garage). Both times this happened, Enterprise and ALL their employees came to my rescue. They were wonderful to work with and even though I likely kept them from leaving on time on a Friday afternoon, they were gracious and accommodating to work with....Enterprise will always be my car rental company.
This place has really bad customer service skills. I wouldn't recommend anyone to rent a car from this location. I would tell you to choose a different company such as Hertz or go to a different Enterprise location
