Overall
CONCERNED!!! I am writing...

CONCERNED!!!

I am writing a review about the dog training class that is taking place at the TSC in Adrian, MI.

I want to inform EVERYONE what was witnessed in these classes.

The class is ran by a husband and wife, Bob Kress, is the man’s name. He does most of the training while the wife, (not sure of her name) tries to counsel people on what to feed their dog, and what to not feed their dog. She has suggested a raw diet- and herbal supplements. Now I am not saying this is good or bad, that’s not my point! My point is that she has NO training, and lacks sufficient knowledge on this subject.

We also heard her give advice to a couple who was having trouble with their puppy who play bites, and then bites a little to hard…they were asking how to correct this. The lady told them, that every time the puppy bites to remove the puppy from the situation and lock the puppy in a cage for “a day or two”

Naturally, the couple seemed alarmed, and they asked “then take the puppy out for potty breaks and feeding right?” and she replied “No! Leave the dog in there, when you take the dog out, it means that the ‘time out’ is over with” She then told them that she has done this at home with her yorkie. The couple asked “how long?” and she replied “for a day or two”

-That would be classified as NEGLECT and ABUSE!!!

Now for the man, Bob, the trainer. He is decent… however, in the second class he brought one of his own dogs. This dog was a female German Shepard, who appeared to be very unhealthy. The dog went over to sniff another woman who was in the class, the dog was very calm and relaxed! Bob’s response to this ASTOTUNED US!!! He walked up and yelled “NO!” and KICKED the dog in her stomach **VERY HARD!**

This is NO WAY to teach a dog!!! ABUSE IS NEVER OKAY!!!

I won’t be going back to this class, and I will be turning them in, I just wanted to put word out there that this is what is going on at the dog classes at TSC in Adrian, MI

We taught this class...never had another negative response. This was our last class due to your allowing this on here. It does not have enough truth in it too warrant leaving this on. It has cost us over a thousand dollars. You could have at least checked with Tractor Supply to see if it was true. Just found out it was on here and reported it to Tractor Supply. We will never use your service and will discourage its use when possible.
