Before considering doing business with Mr. Lax, do your due diligence. As of 9/2/2014, Mr. Lax had two separate felony theft charges pending against him in Dallas County (case IDs F-1300424 and F-1300694) in addition to being subject to a six month deferred adjudication order out of Collin County for class B misdemeanor theft (case number 366-81904-2013 - plead down from third degree felony). He has been sued in civil court several times for default and breach of contract (search Dallas and Collin County civil and criminal court records for Stephen Lax) including a lawsuit filed 8/26/2014 in Dallas County under Cause No. DC-14-09404 alleging that Mr. Lax defrauded his client and attempted to pay her with a $15,000 insufficient funds check. Mr. Lax has had my wife's 4 carat diamond for almost a year and has offered nothing but excuses and inconsistent, conflicting information regarding why he can not pay the amount agreed upon. He refuses to return the diamond or even confirm who has the diamond. His latest excuse was that "a vendor" is holding it as collateral until a couple of other deals are done. Before that, he claimed that it had been sent to an "Israeli guy" in New York to be recut. We were left with no choice but to file criminal theft charges.

Consigned a very expensive diamond ring to Steve at his Co., received post dated check for existing balance payment of $8500., deposited on that day, check bounced, this was on 06/02/13, still trying to collect funds of $3700. as of today 06/18/2014! Susan, if you are still unresolved, please contact me. Thanks.
After working with Bijory, Inc. on a few different occasions, I thought I should write a comment as to my experience with this company. I was very pleased with their professionalism, expertise & product. The staff was just great.
I have been using Spitfire dialers for a few years now. We currently use the Enterprise Predictive Dialer for our internal marketing. The system flawlessly transfers live callers to one of our account managers and then leaves messages on non-answers (answering machines). The system using beep detection for near flawless operation.OPC has really great and attentive support and customer service. Even after more than 3 years the same sales and support staff are still on board - a testament to the way they treat their employees. If you're considering any type of dialer (automated or predictive) i would highly recommend the Spitfire line. They are truly amazing.
This business is not a reliable business. I gave them a diamond ring to sell they gave me a check in Oct. 2012 and it is currently January 2013 and I'm still trying to collect the money. The check bounced and as of today January 28, 2013 there is still not sufficient funds. If you are looking to sell you jewelry to this company DO NOT do it. If I don't get this resolved I will be going to the better business bureau and will be taking legal action against this company
