I recently bought a Subaru at Smart Cars Inc and exactly 150 miles after I drove it off their lot the engine failed. I bought the car from them 'as-is' so they were under no obligation to work with me in any way. And they didn't.That is who you will be buying your next car from if you shop here.

BAD BUSINESS, CAR LOT FULL OF LEMONS. DEALER LIED AND STATED THAT HE ENJOYED TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE DECEPTIVE SALE.
Stopped by looking for cheap transportation. Was not impressed. Sales guy was shady character. Too many junk cars being worked on at side of office. Made me question the history of all cars on lot. Sales person would not answer specific questions. Decided to look elsewhere. Checked other reviews, none were very good. My opinion....shop for used vehicles elsewhere.
BEWARE OF THIS DEALER!! I came in on 10/02 to made a deal on a 10 Tundra with a 08 Acadia on trade. Adam and Sam did a great job on preparing a deal that was to my liking's and fit within my payment range. After a bottom line was agreed upon, I opted to provide my own financing through a credit union. So I was handed a signed buyers order to take to my credit union. I then opted to take the Tundra to my mechanic for an assessment. There were some concerns that were found that I brought to the attention of Drive Now to resolve before I completed purchase. Later that evening I was informed that the Owner William was not in agreement with the deal that his sales manager and associate approved and "signed" earlier that day, so he marked down my trade by $1000 and increased the price of his vehicle by $900 so "he could make some money on the deal". I personally spoke with the owner and expressed my concern in regards to an agreed upon signed buyers order, but he insisted he was not going to loose money on the deal. Going forward he then insisted that he still thought he was giving me to much for my trade and that I needed to take my vehicle to carmax to get it appraised. Seems weird that I have to take my vehicle somewhere else to get it appraised, which takes more time in my already busy schedule just because there is some doubt in not only "1" but "2" assessments given by Drive Now Auto Sales. I gave it a week to see if anything changed, but nothing but that same story to take my vehicle to carmax. I don't define this as a professional car buying experience and caution anyone that is going to consider shopping with them. Changing your mind after a signed deal is shady.
I purchased a 2013 Chevy Camaro 2SS from Day's Chevrolet Nov 2014. I encountered numerous issues that either took multiple requests to fix or were not fixed at all. Scratches & wax residue, noises under the car from a loose shock, a leaky tire, faulty tire pressure sensor & an unbearably rough ride. The first 2 issues were resolved after my 3rd complaint. While the other 3 issues were ignored & never resolved. The leaky tire was pointed out by me during the test drive. I was assured by the shady salesman, Mark Baker, that the tire lost pressure because of the change in weather & that it would be taken care of before delivery. After countless attempts & requests, it was not. When I asked what are you guys going to do about this car that I've spent good money on but can't drive without putting air in the tire every 2 days, Mark rudely handed me a dollar to pay for air & left. To make matters worst, I was filling up the wrong tire the first 2 times because the tire sensor was off. I only discovered that on my own. This too was never fixed. I also received no solution for the lower back pains I endured just 3 days after driving the car. I later found that the car had been altered with a lowered suspension kit, giving me no real distance between me and the road. Of course, this was never disclosed to me at the time of sale and was not prevalent in the test drive on Acworth's smooth roads. Every bump I hit, no matter how small, is a threat to send me airborne. I also have documents that show that his car is not an As-Is purchase but under limited warranty for which Day's will not honor. I asked for the kit to be replaced with standard stock parts, it was refused. I asked for a full refund, it was granted orally and later rescinded. Instead, I was offered a trade-in option meaning I had to spend MORE $ with these sharks. Point blank, Day's does not do business with integrity nor with the customer in mind. Now I'm left with a car I cannot drive & will cost me major $'s to walk away from.
I just received my Title for them yesterday, I bought my car last August, it broke down not even a month after I bought it, so I haven't really had the need for a temporary tag, however the title has 4 different buyers including me within 4 months and it didn't come in my name. I thought when you pay all the fees that they send you a title in your name. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Their grade was an F. This is wrong, no wonder he closed his shop. They plain out lied to me about the vehicle. They told me it was a one owner car and nothing was wrong with it. Now that I have received the title I don't know what if anything there is for me to do but call the junkyard to come get it, sad because I needed a reliable car for my trach dependent son, and $2500 could have went towards another car, not to mention the $800 I put into it trying to get it fixed. My mechanic found parts that were held together with some kind of hard plastic, the check engine light came on a week after I bought it. They sell crap cars, they just fix em up so someone will buy them, then they start having problems shortly after you purchase. Katherine G, do you think that I should file a police report even though I got my title just yesterday. I don't even know what to do with it, looks forged. Please let me know if you guys start receiving your titles as well.
Crooks!!! Never provided title- car engine blew up. We can't get the tag. These guys need to be arrested. Have been trying to get in touch with them for 3 months.
UPDATE: If El Paisano Auto Sales failed to provide your title or pay your taxes, please message me at email@example.com. There is an investigation by the Cherokee County Police, it would be helpful if everyone spoke with the same investigator. He has committed theft by conversion, it is a criminal offense. You do have recourse, do not just let this go. We are in the same boat, no title or registration. The owner closed up the shop and did not file paperwork for anyone or submit the tax payments. We have contacted an attorney, their advice was first and foremost file a police report having the owner charged with failure to deliver title and theft by conversion. This will have to be filed with the Acworth police. Next, call the State of Georgia Used Car Board to file a complaint against him. This is the licensing board for used car dealers. This will not help any of us with our car situation but it will prevent him from opening another dealership. Next call the Governor's Office of Consumer Protection. As far as what to do with untitled cars, I have not found anyone to tell me what to do to solve this.
*UPDATED BELOW*Yet another title issue here. Purchased the vehicle in December, it is now mid February and no title yet. I cannot reach them since their phone is disconnected. Also, the transmission to the car died before my first tank of gas was even empty. I am highly suspicious they cleared out check engine light codes prior to showing me the vehicle. UPDATE: My title finally arrived nearly two months later. I took it to the tag office and learned they had not paid the taxes they collected from me during the sale. The clerk informed me if a dealer does not pay the taxes they collect, they are required to enclose a check made out to the purchaser with the title. I did not receive it. So, this is a theft by conversion or theft by deceiving situation now. I will file a report with Acworth Police. Did anyone else work with the young guy who was the broker, whose phone number ended in 8236? I didn't catch his name and he has refused to provide it since then. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org if anyone has information.
