Chompers Barbecue

The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The food itself was very average. I had Beef Briskit that was somewhat salty but juicy and tender. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp and not overly sweetened which is a real plus. The baked beans were god awful and were out of a can with what appeared to be dehydrated onions and left a very unplesant aftertaste. The dinner roll was heated in a microwave and that made it rubber band chewy. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich and french fries which were oversalted. Her sandwich was very good even if a bit short on actual pulled pork. The resturant offers good, not great, food at a fair price. It would not be a resturant I would make a destination choice but if I am in the area I would consider it for a quick lunch.
