Excellent service. 4% Card fee if you're paying with a card over the phone and 3.5% Card fee if you're paying with a card in person. Sherry actually lets customers know what they are paying for and the amount in detail. Most businesses charge those fees but usually call them convenience fees. Nothing unusual about that. Convenience fees are monitored by the provider of the card equipment and service. So when you use a card, that fee goes to the company that provides the service not the business you used the card at. Short explanation. Just think about that when you see the words convenience fee when using a card anywhere. I Highly recommend This and That Auto Repair when having vehicle problems. Bobby is very knowledgeable and goes beyond expectations to repair vehicles and educate customers about their vehicle.
This place is great.i use my card all of the time at this place over the phone and at the business they do have card fee but all businesses do and most places cuz they also have to pay fee but 40 dollars noway was that charged over the phone or otherwise for a card fee.these are good honest people highly recommend
They charge $5 for every $100 if using a card and then on top of that $40 if you want to pay over the phone! This is reduculous

I arrived at Sam Snead tire on Saturday July 29 to inquire about repair of a bent Axel on my 1997 Lincoln Town car limousine. Upon my arrival 3 " mechanics" began to inspect, touch and attempt to open the rear passenger doors to the limo in the fashion of having never seen one before. Time being an issue, and no one asking how they could help I gained their attention and asked if they could repair the issue. At that point a "supervisor" came out an I informed him of the issue. He said " I'll have to order the parts but we can do it". I agreed to let him repair the issue and he replied " I'll order the parts if you promise to return on Monday at 12pm when the parts arrive", I agreed. I return to the Walmart in Bristol and stay in the limo until Monday. I arrived Monday around 8am and the employees began to disassemble the rear components of the car in preparation for the arriving parts. 12pm rolls around and no parts, 3:30-4:00 pm parts arrive. They ordered the WRONG Axle! I am told excuses about who's to blame and I calmly and politely told them " I understand , let's just get it done". They say another 2 days for the parts that will arrive at 12pm, I responded " around 3:30 or 4?" Mechanic responded " No, 12pm" as I know very well he can't make promises for Fed ex. At this point I can no longer stay in my limousine as it is on Jack's and must get a hotel room. I return 2 days later at 11am in anticipation of the parts arrival, 12pm no parts! They arrive at 3:40 pm as I said they would. Again WRONG Axle!!!!! They sent the old Axel to a local machine shop to be refurbished and cancelled delivery of the proper Axel " he will work on it tonight and it will be done tomorrow"I return to the hotel. I return at 11am on Friday August 4th, no Axel, I wait until 4:15 pm closing time at 5 and the business will be closed all weekend , the manager says " we are going to stay late for this". Obvious to me that this is not going to get done I began to explore my options as I had .
December 2014 - First, my radiator sprung a leak, causing my car to overheat and need towing. Riffey's did a great job installing a new radiator on my 2001 Toyota Sequoia - for a very fair price, and FAST.When I drove the car home however, it was sputtering and shaking and the Check Engine light came on. I wasn't sure if this was related to my new radiator, so I took it back to Riffey's. Owner Allen took the time to work me into his schedule, quickly discovered that the problem was fouled and loose spark plugs, and replaced them pronto. Allen also took the time to bring the parts over and explain the situation to me, which I greatly appreciated as a non-car guy.These folks are GOOD, personable and charge fair prices. The only down side is that they do not accept credit/debit cards, so bring your checkbook.Anyway, take all your cars there - I'm now a Riffey's customer for life! - J.W. Hornsby, Abingdon, VA

I took my car in for an oil change. To make a long story short, their tech named John Wood put an oil that wasnt even the oil I had brought in my car, wrong weight wrong type. didnt change the filter. I will never return. I busted the tech just doing a "drain and fill", no excuse for this laziness. I was in there maybe early 2014...
